Pertubuhan Komuniti HARAP Kuantan,
is a non-governmental organization with the mission to be the guiding light to engage, encourage and empower the community by enhancing the well-being of those in need. HARAP’s goal is to build social programs that impact, transform, educate, and empower the underserved community to rise above circumstances, to see the potential that exists within every situation. EDUCATION :
Goodtime English - A fun English learning program for underprivileged children and orphans, equipping them with daily basic conversational skills. Youth Aspiration - Nurturing youth intellectual & social awareness, fostering inner self-development that promotes healthy social interaction. COMMUNITY :
B40Care - Lifting up the underserved community especially the single mothers, the wargamas, the orang asli, refugees, and migrants. MedikCare - Providing home care medical equipment, giving physical & emotional support for patients & families, and connecting them to various social welfare resources and organizations.

As floodwaters subside, residents have begun returning home to clean up the aftermath. We're deeply grateful to a group of kind-hearted Samaritans from Bentong and The Empire Project, who travelled all the way to Kuantan to cook and serve lunch to the tired and hungry community.

A heartfelt thank you to Yayasan Hasana through the Humanitarian Disaster Relief (HDR) support, which enabled HARAP to be part of this meaningful initiative.

Together, we bring hope, strength, and solidarity to those rebuilding their lives. 💛

As floodwaters rise, many families are forced to flee their homes and relocate to PPS (Temporary Evacuation Centres). Arriving hungry, wet, and tired, food is often not immediately available until the centres are fully set up.

Thanks to the timely support from *Yayasan Hasanah*, HARAP was able to respond swiftly by delivering drinking water and dry food supplies to 10 PPS centres.

Continuous and heavy monsoon rainfall over the past few days has caused severe flooding, cutting off road access to many Orang Asli kampungs. The situation remains critical as water levels continue to rise. We are urgently delivering food aid to all areas where roads are still passable, while closely monitoring conditions in kampungs that remain inaccessible. For these areas, deliveries can only proceed once floodwaters subside enough for our trucks to enter safely.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Yayasan Hasanah for their timely support and trust, which enable us to respond swiftly to this urgent humanitarian situation.
