关爱视力，“睛”彩开始！

延续对教育与社区的关怀，关丹华扬扶轮社携手 Eyez On Me Concept Store 推动的 "改善学生视力计划" ，今日在班珍华小顺利完成。

通过专业的视力检查，让学生更了解自身的视力状况，及早发现视力问题。我们也为有需要的学生提供免费的眼镜，帮助他们拥有更清晰的视野，并培养良好的护眼意识。

感谢班珍华小校方与老师们的积极配合，也感谢 Eyez On Me Concept Store 提供专业支持，以及本社社员们的协助，为孩子们的成长道路献上一份温暖的力量。

每一双明亮的眼睛，都是孩子探索世界、学习成长的重要窗口。

Caring for Vision, Creating Brighter Futures!

Continuing our commitment to education and community care, the Rotary Club of Kuantan City, together with Eyez On Me Concept Store, successfully carried out our Student Vision Improvement Project at SJK(C) Panching today.

Through professional eye screenings, students were able to better understand their vision health and identify potential problems early. Free spectacles were also provided to students in need, helping them see more clearly and learn with greater confidence.

Our sincere appreciation goes to the school, teachers, Eyez On Me Concept Store, and our fellow Rotarians for their support and contribution.

Every pair of bright eyes opens a window to learning and discovery. Together, let’s help our children see a brighter future!

关爱记忆 守护健康

阿兹海默症早期检测与健康筛查活动圆满成功。

为提高社区对阿兹海默症的认识，推动早期发现与健康管理，关丹华扬扶轮联合 Healthy Malaysia 及彭亨佛教会于日前举办“阿兹海默症早期检测与健康筛查活动”。

本次活动共有31位社区人士参与健康筛查，通过专业的检测与评估，让参与者更了解自身健康状况，并提高对阿兹海默症早期预防及管理的重要性。

活动当天，Healthy Malaysia 团队带来了专业的医疗团队，细心地为每一位参与者进行评估与指导。同时，彭亨佛教会提供了场地与大力支持，让整个活动能够顺利进行。

特别感谢本社社员与义工的积极参与。从现场登记，引导参与者，到协助活动流程，每一个岗位都发挥了重要作用。

这次合作充分体现了扶轮精神，我们积极与不同单位携手合作，共同投入社区服务，为社区创造更大的影响力。

Caring for Memories, Protecting Health

The Alzheimer’s Early Detection & Health Screening Programme, jointly organised by the Rotary Club of Kuantan City, Healthy Malaysia and the Pahang Buddhist Association, was successfully held with 31 participants from the community.

Through professional screenings and assessments, participants gained greater awareness of their health and the importance of early detection and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease.

Our sincere appreciation goes to Healthy Malaysia for providing the professional medical team, the Pahang Buddhist Association for the venue and support, and all our Rotarians and volunteers for making the programme a success.

Together, we continue to embody the spirit of Rotary — working hand in hand to serve our community and create a positive impact.

关丹华扬扶轮社, Serve to Change Lives , 一个发生在关丹社区的真实故事。

Pudhenis 女士是一位单亲妈妈，独自抚养五个孩子，其中四名孩子正在求学，最小的孩子仍处于幼儿阶段。

丈夫离世后，她靠着清洁工作撑起整个家。尽管收入微薄，生活艰难，她却从未让孩子放弃求学，因为她始终相信，教育，是孩子唯一能够改变命运的机会。

今早，我们陪伴她的女儿 Gogila 前往吉隆坡，资助长女 Gogila 进入 Montfort Boys Town (MBT) 接受为期两年的技能教育。

对很多人来说，这或许只是一趟旅程，但对这个家庭来说，却是一道希望的曙光，一个改变未来的开始。

今天，Gogila迎来人生的关键转折点，因为技能教育将给予她未来就业和独立生活的能力。

我们希望通过教育、技能培养及陪伴，帮助他们打破贫困循环，建立更有希望的未来。我们深信："教育，是长期脱离贫困最有效的方式！"

也许，我们改变不了整个世界，但我们一起努力，就足以改变一个孩子的人生，一个家庭的未来！

Ms. Pudhenis is a single mother raising five children on her own. Despite working as a cleaner to support her family, she has never given up on her children's education because she believes it is the key to a better future.

Today, we accompanied her eldest daughter, Gogila, to Kuala Lumpur to begin a two-year vocational education programme at Montfort Boys Town (MBT).

For many, it is just a journey. For this family, it is a new beginning filled with hope.

We believe that education and skills training are the most effective ways to break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future.

Together, we may not change the whole world, but we can change the life of one child—and the future of one family.

一场简单而温暖的庆生活动

今天，我们与扶轮家人们相聚林明，以简单而温馨的方式，为一位96岁的老人家庆祝寿辰，同时为社员庆生。

没有华丽的安排，只有满满的心意与祝福。
愿老人家： 松鹤延年，福寿绵绵，健康快乐！

当天我们也与老人家夫妇拍下一张《全家福》，把这一刻定格下来。愿我们多年后再次回望，依然能感受到当时的喜悦、温暖与感动。

老人家走过九十六载岁月，身体依然硬朗，与阿嬷相伴多年，相濡以沫，令人感动。

愿当天的一张张笑脸、一句句祝福，都成为老人家日后珍贵的回忆。

关丹华扬扶轮社，不只是服务社区，更是在每一个温暖的时刻，陪伴彼此，传递关爱与祝福。

A Simple Yet Heartwarming Birthday Celebration

Today, our Rotary family gathered in Sungai Lembing for a simple yet meaningful celebration to honor the 96th birthday of a wonderful elder, while also celebrating the birthdays of our fellow club members.

There was no grand arrangement—just heartfelt blessings, warm smiles, and genuine companionship.

We wish our beloved elder continued good health, abundant happiness, and many more years of joy and blessings.

One of the most meaningful moments of the day was taking a family portrait with the elderly couple. We hope that years from now, when we look back at this photo, we will once again feel the joy, warmth, and love that filled the moment.

Having journeyed through 96 remarkable years, our birthday celebrant remains healthy and strong, sharing a lifelong companionship with his beloved wife. Their enduring love and devotion are truly inspiring.

May every smile shared and every blessing offered today become a treasured memory for them in the years to come.

At the Rotary Club of Kuantan City, we believe service goes beyond community projects. It is also about being present in life's meaningful moments—sharing kindness, spreading love, and celebrating the people who make our community special.

关丹华扬扶轮社携手彭亨佛教会及 Healthy Malaysia，共同举办阿茲海默症早期筛查与健康检查，让符合资格的民众以政府津贴优惠价 RM380，享有市场价值约 RM2,000 的健康检查配套。

活动日期：2026年8月16日（星期日）
地点：彭亨佛教会
对象：60岁及以上人士或是40岁及以上，并有阿茲海默症症家族病史者

名额有限，先到先得！

Memory may fade, but care should never come too late.

Alzheimer’s disease is a progressive neurological condition that mainly affects older adults. Early screening leads to earlier detection, timely intervention, and better planning for the future.

The Rotary Club of Kuantan City, in collaboration with the Pahang Buddhist Association and Healthy Malaysia, is organizing an Alzheimer’s Early Screening & Health Check programme. Eligible participants can enjoy a comprehensive health screening package worth approximately RM2,000 for just RM380 under a government subsidy.

Date: 16 August 2026 (Sunday)
Venue: Pahang Buddhist Association, Kuantan
Eligibility: Adults aged 60 and above, or adults aged 40 and above with a family history of Alzheimer’s disease

Limited slots available, registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

2026年6月18日，我社非常荣幸地邀请Kevin Goh当任例常会议的主讲嘉宾，分享主题为《有遗嘱与无遗嘱的区别》。

俗话说：“未雨绸缪，胜于临渴掘井”, 然而遗嘱规划却往往是许多人容易忽略，却又与每个人息息相关的重要课题。很多时候，我们努力经营一生所累积的资产，却未曾认真思考如何妥善安排未来的传承问题。

遗嘱不仅关系到个人资产的安排，更关系到家人在未来能否顺利处理遗产事务。因此，Kevin律师当晚的分享让大家对于遗嘱规划及遗产处理程序有更深入的认识。

Regular Meeting: The Difference Between Having a Will and Not Having a Will

On 18 June 2026, our club was privileged to welcome Kevin Goh as the guest speaker at our regular meeting, sharing valuable insights on “The Difference Between Having a Will and Not Having a Will.”

Through his engaging presentation, members gained a better understanding of the importance of estate planning, the role of a will, and the potential challenges faced when no will is in place.

第3届肾脏关爱公益跑日前在彭亨佛教会圆满举行，活动获得民众热烈响应。

感谢彭亨佛教会洗肾中心的信任，让我社有机会全力配合此次公益跑，共同推广肾脏健康意识，提升大众对肾脏疾病的关注。

活动当天，我社精心准备了趣味寻宝游戏及肾脏知识有奖问答，活动获得现场民众踊跃参与，反应热烈，互动气氛十分热络。关中扶少团与我社社员也一早抵达现场，全力协助活动进行，为推动肾脏健康醒觉尽一份心力。

关丹华扬扶轮社呼吁民众关注肾脏健康，培养良好生活习惯，定期进行健康检查，及早预防肾脏疾病。希望通过类似公益活动，让更多人认识肾脏保健的重要性，一同携手建设更健康的社区。

The PBA Kidney Awareness Run 3.0 was successfully held with an overwhelming response from the community.

We sincerely thank the Pahang Buddhist Association Dialysis Centre for the opportunity to support this meaningful event in promoting kidney health awareness. Our club organized a fun treasure hunt and kidney health quiz, which were warmly received by participants and added excitement to the event.

A special thank you to our members and the Chong Hwa Interact Club for their dedication and support throughout the program.

Together, let us continue to raise awareness of kidney health, encourage regular health screenings, and build a healthier community for all.
