The Harvest Festival refers to traditional celebrations that give thanks for a successful rice harvest and blessings from nature. 🌾 In Malaysia, the two most well-known harvest festivals are Kaamatan in Sabah and Hari Gawai in Sarawak.

Hari Gawai (or Gawai Dayak) is the annual harvest festival celebrated in the Malaysian state of Sarawak. It is mainly celebrated by the indigenous Dayak communities, including the Iban, Bidayuh, and other Dayak groups. 💫People celebrate harvest festivals like Kaamatan and Hari Gawai to give thanks for a successful harvest and to appreciate the blessings of food, nature, family, and community. 👥
