Founded in May 2015 by the late Vimmi Razak, our NGO is a transit shelter home dedicated to supporting single pregnant mothers.

Located in Pandan Jaya, we operate entirely on 100% donations, providing a safe and nurturing environment for those in need.

For years, you have touched countless lives through your selfless work, giving hope to mothers, children and the community. You continue to carry forward the beautiful legacy left by your late sister Vimmi Razak, ensuring that our NGO remains a place of love, support, and second chances.

Recently, our children from Rumah Kita were truly honoured to receive a special invitation from to Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS for a rare and meaningful musical experience.

For them, it was their very first time stepping into the beautiful concert hall, and seeing the majestic Klais Pipe Organ up close was already something unforgettable. They were given the opportunity to witness live demonstrations by renowned organist Michael Schönheit, while also listening to his inspiring sharing session about his musical journey, experiences, and passion for music.

Beyond just the performance itself, it was an eye-opening and interactive learning experience for our children, exposing them to the beauty of classical music, culture, creativity, and the arts in such a prestigious setting. Watching their curiosity, and joy throughout the session was truly heartwarming.

Experiences like these mean so much because it remind our children that they too deserve opportunities to explore the world beyond their everyday environment, to dream bigger, learn new things, and create beautiful memories.

We are deeply grateful to Heavenly Star Music for continuously including our children in such meaningful events and for always making them feel seen, valued, and welcomed.

Anak-anak selalu tanya, “Bila kita nak mandi pantai?”
“Rose teringin nak buat istana dengan pasir”
“Lily teringin nak lompat-lompat dekat ombak”
“Dahlia nak rasa mandi pantai”.

Pada hari Ahad, 27/4/26 Kak Ya realisasikan impian mereka. Kami angkut semua anak-anak dengan kenderaan yang ada. Berdimpit sikit tak apa. Janji sampai.

Sebelum ke pantai, kami bawa anak-anak melawat Muzium Tentera Darat. Bukan main gembira mereka dapat tengok helikopter dan kereta kebal. Masing-masing sibuk nak bergambar. Bukan main teruja bila nampak abang-abang tentera dalam uniform.

Bukan main seronok lagi bila keluar saja dari muzium, nampak laut seluas mata memandang. Punyalah gembira hati masing-masing.

Sampai saja di tepi laut, semua tak sabar nak tukar baju renang. Melompat-lompat keriangan.

Pertama kali mereka dapat memandang laut. Pertama kali juga mereka memijak pasir putih pantai. Berlari masing-masing.

“Lembutnya pasir ni...” saat kaki menjejak pasir tanpa kasut.

Masuk saja dalam air…
“Ehhh! Air ni masinlah!” Semua ketawa tengok Lola terkulat-kulat merasa air laut.

Semua anak-anak gembira dapat mandi laut. Semua gembira dapat merasa bermain pasir pantai. Berselerak mereka mandi dan berenang. Seronok sangat.

Sayu hati kami tengok anak-anak gembira. Terima kasih Kak Ya bawak anak-anak walaupun Kak Ya sibuk dengan macam-macam hal. Dia luangkan juga masa untuk bagi anak-anak gembira.

Lepas mandi manda semua kelaparan, mujur bawak bekalan makanan dari rumah.

Terima kasih pada semua yang pernah menyumbang di Rumah Kita. Kami masih memerlukan dana untuk menjaga mereka dengan sempurna.

Dahlia is a bright 6 year old with a love for learning. Since the age of 5, she has been attending Smart Reader Kids supported by the kindness of generous donors who believed in giving her a chance.

As Dahlia approaches the completion of her final kindergarten year, she is getting ready to take the next big step into Primary 1 next year. To ensure she can finish her time at Smart Reader smoothly and without interruption, we are ow seeking kind-hearted individuals to sponsor her education from July to December 2026 at RM410 per month.

Every contribution, big or small will directly help Dahlia stay in school and keep her dreams alive. As we rely entirely on public donations, your support truly makes a life-changing difference.

We are truly grateful to Kelly and her team from .kinrara for spending the first day of Raya recently with us.

In the spirit of Hari Raya, they didn’t just come to celebrate, they came with open hearts. From organizing fun activities to blessing our residents with duit raya and meaningful contributions, their kindness brought so much joy to our home.

What made it even more special was the beautiful reminder that compassion knows no boundaries of race, religion, or background. This is what true unity looks like 🤍

At Rumah Kita, our care for mothers does not end after delivery.

We also support our mothers through their confinement period, ensuring they receive proper care, rest, and guidance during this important time. From postnatal massages, nutritious meals suitable for confinement, to assisting and teaching them how to breastfeed their newborns, we walk this journey together with them.

Many of these mothers have nowhere else to go when their families are not ready to accept them back. During this time, Rumah Kita becomes their safe space, where they can continue their confinement with dignity, care, and support.

No mother is left alone here. 🤍

Di Rumah Kita, penjagaan terhadap para ibu tidak berakhir selepas mereka melahirkan anak.

Kami juga menjaga para ibu sepanjang tempoh berpantang, memastikan mereka mendapat penjagaan, rehat dan bimbingan yang sewajarnya pada waktu yang sangat penting ini. Daripada urutan selepas bersalin, penyediaan makanan berpantang yang berkhasiat, sehinggalah membantu serta mengajar mereka cara menyusukan bayi yang baru lahir, kami melalui perjalanan ini bersama mereka.

Ramai antara ibu-ibu ini tidak mempunyai tempat untuk pulang apabila keluarga mereka masih belum bersedia untuk menerima mereka kembali. Dalam tempoh ini, Rumah Kita menjadi tempat perlindungan mereka di mana mereka boleh terus menjalani tempoh berpantang dengan penuh maruah, penjagaan dan sokongan.

Di sini, tiada seorang ibu pun yang dibiarkan bersendirian. 🤍
