A Poet from Rakhine | How a writer turns his poetry into a living story.

In June 2025, the Myanmar refugee community offered Malaysians a chance to get to know them. At the two-day Stand With Myanmar festival, they showcased their art, culture, history, food, and – most importantly – themselves. Roe Htet was part of a group of refugee youths who recreated a "home" from their collective memories.
