Gorgeous Geeks

Gorgeous Geeks is a platform to empower women to leverage on technology. The Gorgeous Geeks was launched in Jan 2008 subsequently.

This group were inspired and touched by the Woman-In-Technology session back in 12 Sep 2007, hosted by Microsoft in it's premier and largest annual technology conference, Tech.Ed SEA 2007. The GG meet once in two or three months. Each meeting will discuss various IT or woman-in-IT related issues. Conferences and seminars are also held regularly in the area of Leadership and Entreprenuership. Futur

e plan include provide support for women technopreneur and to help women to leverage technology in their business. GG also plans to roll out re-skill program to facilitate continuous learning and updates for women in the knowledge based economy. Note:
1) Joining this Facebook group is FREE, and you will get updates on our coming events. However, joining this group does not indicate you are the official member of Gorgeous Geeks.

2) If you start attending the GG event and want to benefit on the member rate, please sign up officially prior to or at the event.

Gorgeous Geeks organised an industry-and-academia event in collaboration with Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology.

We have over 20 curated companies present their services and offers to the universities, and over 7 faculties and 3 universities present their services to businesses.

We sparked off so many conveand collabora opportunities. Our members even got collaborations amongst each other! 💪🏼

Thank you to Xiamen University 厦门大学and SRC UTAR Sungai Long Campus for sharing your faculties, skills and collab areas with GG members.

It's not easy being part of a community, and to have responsibilities to be part of a working committee. We work together and collaborate to work towards achieving our purpose - to enable more women to leverage on digital technologies to grow and scale.

It's been 15 years, and it's been a rewarding journey so far. During our 15th anniversary, we presented Certificates of Appreciation to our current Committee Members, Patrons and Advisors. We couldn't have journeyed this far without you .. and we look forward to the next 15 years with you ♥️
