We’re truly honored to have journeyed this far and to stand as part of the 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 alongside with Secretariat. Our Founder, Dr. Juliana Lim, took the stage as one of the impactful voices at this landmark event, held from 29 Sept – 1 Oct at SICC, Sabah.

𝐁𝐋𝐔𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐑𝐃 -A bold, shared vision, shaped through the foresight of IPEC Foundation’s Think Tank, Datuk Fadilah Baharin and Prof. Dr. Ng Wee Kiong, and brought to life through the unwavering leadership of the Sekretariat Sabah Maju Jaya Chief Coordinating Officer, Datuk Rosmadi Datu Sulai and the Chief Operating Officer, Datuk Ramlee Kariah.

This initiative also opens the way for a new collaborative regional pillar — the “𝐁𝐈𝐌𝐏-𝐄𝐀𝐆𝐀 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞,” aimed at supporting ASEAN’s collective journey toward stronger quality infrastructure.

Anchored in the SDGs, the emerging Blue Standard aspires to foster sustainable growth across diverse maritime and marine sectors, shaping an inclusive and resilient economy. May this journey continue to unite our strengths, deepen collaboration, and inspire a shared Blue Future for all across ASEAN.

🟣 IPEC FOUNDATION – RDA SABAH | COURTESY VISIT TO ISTANA SERI KINABALU

The IPEC Global Legacy Foundation, through its NGO-Connect initiative, proudly led a courtesy visit to YABhg Toh Puan Datin Seri Panglima Datuk Hajah Faridah binti Haji Tussin, wife of the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah.

This delegation, headed by Dr. Juliana Lim, Founder of IPEC Foundation and Honorary Secretary of RDA Sabah, presented the vision and long-term mission of establishing inclusive equine-assisted therapy (EAT) as a holistic support system for children with special needs in Sabah.

Joining the delegation were President of RDA Sabah, Datuk Pintaz Badar, expert trainer from RDA Malaysia, Mr. Muthusamy Kandasamy, and IPEC Foundation Trustee, Mrs. Josie Aloysius.

✨ Main Outcome:

During the visit, YABhg Toh Puan graciously accepted the role as Penaung Kehormat (Honorary Patron) of Riding for the Disabled Association Sabah (RDA Sabah) — a profound honour that reinforces our mission to support children with special needs through equine-assisted therapy.

🔹 The global RDA movement and Malaysian milestones

🔹 RDA Sabah’s community impact since its founding in 2024

🔹 Current and upcoming equine therapy programs across Sabah

🔹 The long-term vision to develop a purpose-built Equine Therapy Centre in Kota Kinabalu

🔹 Cross-collaboration between NGOs, schools, and volunteers across Sabah

💜 This symbolic engagement reflects the IPEC Foundation’s deep commitment to empowering inclusive community development, under the shared vision of “Free Therapy for All.”

What started as a bit of “kupi-kupi daydreaming” during is no longer just a dream — it’s happening, and it’s powered by the people of Sabah. — a people-powered movement that’s bringing fresh energy to Sabah’s future. 💡✨

Together with the Sabah Maju Jaya initiative under the Chief Minister’s Office, we're working to shape a future where Sabah leads with innovation, sustainability, and good governance. But let’s be honest — this isn’t just about big words or fancy frameworks. It’s about real opportunities and real impact for the people of Sabah, that will be rooted in the systems that communities can trust, be part of, and be proud of.

We’re especially proud to co-lead the Sabah Blue Economy Standards, Quality Management, Accreditation and Metrology (SQAM).

🤔 What is SQAM? According to Datuk Haji (Datu) Rosmadi bin Datu Sulai, JP. Ketua Pegawai Penyelaras Sekretariat Sabah Maju Jaya, this will be the strong foundation for a future where Sabahans will benefit — not just today, but for generations to come. 🛠️📈

Whether it's through our rigorous certification processes that you've come to trust, or the foundation's grassroots initiatives that have touched countless lives, your support has been instrumental in turning our shared vision into reality—a vision driven by a common purpose: to empower individuals, foster meaningful global connections, and drive sustainable change.
