吉隆坡河婆同乡会成立於一九六九年，吉隆坡河婆同乡会成立已近60年。在这近60年的岁月里，物换星移，河婆社群已产生乐极大的变迁。河婆人原本人少势薄，并不引起瞩目，直到乡会的成立，才在吉隆坡奠下根基，成为家喻户晓的客家一族。
