Euroasia Association of Performing Arts The Euroasia Association of Performing Arts is dedicated to the promotion and development of performing arts in Malaysia.

Established in 2014, the Euroasia Association of Performing Arts is under the patronage of HH Tunku Zain Al-'Abidin ibni Tuanku Muhriz. The establishment of Euroasia Association of Performing Arts was inspired by IDEAS, our objectives are to;

Initiate
• To develop talent and creativity, foster long term appreciation and understanding of the performing arts by providing opportunities through works

• To encourage collaborative efforts aimed at developing the incorporation of various cultural elements in the performing arts and to provide the community with performances of the highest quality and of varied content and tradition. Explore

These kids worked so hard leading up to the finale concert, and every single bit of that effort showed on stage today! ✨

Four out of the five featured concertos were performed by our very own Malaysian kids 🇲🇾, and one of our talented young pianists even took the stage for a solo performance 🎶👏

We couldn’t be prouder of every single one of you. Well done, kids! ❤️🌟

In the afternoon, the kids explored the breathtaking Wells Cathedral, soaking in rich culture and history before taking the stage.

The day wrapped up with a wonderful Student Concert, the perfect prelude to the Grand Finale concert at the stunning St James's Piccadilly! ✨

⭐ 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗝𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲́ 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼:
A Spanish conductor and pedagogue with high degrees in clarinet, orchestral conducting, and choral conducting and pedagogy. 🎼 He has conducted orchestras in the world’s most prestigious concert halls, including the Franz Liszt Hall in Budapest 🏛️, the Cairo Opera House 🎭, Smetana Hall in Prague, and the Musikverein in Vienna 🎵.

He regularly teaches conducting at leading American universities such as the Colburn School in Los Angeles and Philadelphia Temple. 🎓 He is the conductor of the Orchestra and Choir of the University of Almería and a professor in its Master’s program in conducting. 🎼

🏆🎻 AND THAT’S A WRAP! 🎶✨

After an amazing week of lessons, rehearsals, concerts, new friendships and lots of music-making, the Euroasia 2026 UK Preliminary Round has officially come to an end!

It’s been so lovely watching the students grow throughout the week — not just as musicians, but also in confidence, independence and in the way they supported one another. 🎻🎹

The competition was only one part of the journey. The practising, sharing music, exploring Wells, laughing together and learning from so many wonderful professors are what made this week truly special. 💫

A huge congratulations to all the kids for their hard work, courage and dedication. Whatever the result, stepping onto that stage and giving it your best is something to be proud of. ❤️

And of course, a big thank you to all the professors, coaches, accompanists, parents, organisers and everyone at Gibden for making this week so memorable.
