Hope reaches beyond every wall. ❤️

Eric Ruban from CARE's Prison Coordinating Team shared a message titled "Love Beyond Bars", reminding us that every person deserves hope, dignity, and a second chance.

God's love: No one is beyond His grace.
Hope for all: Every life can be restored through Christ.
Standing together: Churches and communities can bring hope to prison prospects and their families.

We are thankful to Faith Methodist Church for your warm welcome, open hearts, and support. Together, we can bring God's love to those who need it most.

After losing so much, Uma* shut the world out.
But one home visit, one conversation, and one small garden became the beginning of a journey from gloom to bloom, a testimony of God's restoring hope.

"This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life." Ezekiel 37:5

Mission accomplished. Hearts encouraged. 💛

We were thankful to the Malaysian Missionary Movement (MMM), the missions arm of the Tamil Methodist Church in Malaysia, for the invite! It was a joy to meet people of all ages, from children to seniors, who share the same heart for breaking barriers, building bridges, and impacting lives together.

🌱 Meaningful conversations: We connected with people who wanted to know more about CARE's work across Malaysia.
🌱 Faithful prayers: Many visitors stopped to pray with and for us, reminding us that God's mission is carried forward through prayer as well as action. 🙏
🌱 Shared purpose: We were encouraged to see people from every generation wanting to serve, give, and make a difference together.

Every conversation, every prayer, and every connection is a seed planted. We look forward to seeing how God will continue to grow these seeds in His perfect time.

Will you journey with us? Pray for our ministries, volunteer your time, or help share our mission so more lives can be reached.

Hope grows when we choose compassion. ❤️

We had the privilege of sharing about Malaysian CARE's Prison Ministry and the YouTurn Song at Gateway Methodist Church KJ . Through testimonies, ministry updates, and the Life Paths activity, we shared God's heart for restoration, hope, and second chances.

💛 Stories that inspire: Every person has the potential for a new beginning.
🎵 YouTurn Song: A powerful reminder that hope is never out of reach.
🤝 A shared mission: Churches and communities can help break stigma and support successful reintegration into society.

Thank you, Gateway Methodist Church, for your warm welcome, active participation, and partnership. Together, we can continue building a community second chances are possible.

God didn’t ask us to be successful but faithful. 🐾

Compassion fatigue.

Burnout.

Journeying with others but seeing no change?

Our director Keith Gonsalvez shared at Trinity Methodist Church @ PJ how we can run this compassion marathon.🏃🏽🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏾‍♀️

1. Disappointments are inevitable
Even Jesus has been disappointed. Yet, let’s not be discouraged in doing good. 🧡

2. See opportunities, not burdens
More than 15,000 people benefited from the food distribution during the MCO.🧺

3. Patience
In journeying with others, we simply give our best. Trust in God’s timing to bear fruit. 🍇

💡So, what is the Lord saying to you today?

Don’t give up! 🪴The Lord has promised us fruits, in His Time. 🌳

Every step builds a new future. ❤️

At our halfway home, clients learn practical life skills that prepare them for independent living. Through everyday activities like grocery shopping, they practice budgeting, planning meals, making wise spending decisions, and choosing healthier food options.

🛒 Everyday life skills: Learning to manage money and shop responsibly.
🌱 Growing in confidence: Small steps help build responsibility, independence, and self-worth.
🤝 A fresh start: Reintegration is about creating new habits and embracing a life filled with hope and dignity.
