𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗼𝗳 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵. 🙏

We thank Rev Viji Daniel and Ms Annam from St Paul's Church Petaling Jaya for inviting our team to their Sunday Service. Our colleague, Nick Goh, shared a message on mission and reminded us that mission can begin right where we are.

🙏 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Rahab heard about God and chose to trust Him. Her faith moved her to act.
❤️ 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝘀: We can reach out to our neighbours and those around us who may be struggling or searching for hope.
🤲 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲: We can use our time, talents and treasures to serve others and show God’s love.

Rahab’s story reminds us that God can use what we have and where we are to make a difference. Mission does not always mean going far. Sometimes, it starts with simply caring for someone near us.

Take one small step this week. Reach out to someone, show kindness, or lend a helping hand.

Thank you to Chairman Elder Simon Low and the leadership of New Life Community Church, Subang Jaya, for inviting our team to their Sunday Service. Our Board Chairman, Dr Benjamin George Jr, shared God’s Word on Kingdom Values and how we can live out our faith. 🙏

3 reminders from the message:
❤️ 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: See the needs around us and respond with care, just as God did.
🌱 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞: Bring Kingdom values into the spaces we live and work in. The Beatitudes remind us to live with humility, courage, integrity, compassion and peace.
🙌 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Ask, “How can I contribute?” and “What can I change?” Use the gifts God has given us to make a difference.

May we continue to live out Kingdom values wherever God has placed us, reflecting Christ through the way we live and serve. 💛

Our Annual Support Group Retreat brought together halfway home residents and Community Client Support Group members at Golden Sands Baptist Assembly Retreat Centre, Port Dickson.

🌱 𝗥𝗲𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴: A safe space to grow and move forward.
🤝 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: Time to build friendships and support one another.
😊 𝗘𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴: Beach games, good food, laughter and fellowship.

More than just a retreat, it was a reminder that no one has to walk the journey alone. Together, we grow, heal and take the next step.

“𝗖𝗶𝗸𝗴𝘂, 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗻𝗮𝗸 𝗯𝘂𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗽𝗮?” 🥰

15 community ladies came together for our Bengkel Anyaman Komuniti, led by Kak Alang and Ayin from Kampar and coordinated by our Malaysian CARE team, Kavi & Kharis.

🤝 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿: Learning new skills and helping one another.
💛 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿: Sharing smiles, conversations and friendship.
🌱 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱: Asking, “Cikgu, next nak buat apa?” because they were already excited for the next activity!

It was more than just an activity. It was a beautiful time to connect, learn and build stronger bonds as a community. ❤️

𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝘁. 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘁. 𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁. 💛

We are thankful to Evangelical Lutheran Church Malaysia for inviting us to be part of their National Youth Camp this year, where we encouraged youths to express their emotions through movement and dance.

The session helped participants to:

👉🏻 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘆: Take part in a fun, safe and community-focused dance activity.

👉🏻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Learn how to understand and manage emotions in healthy and biblical ways.

👉🏻 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲: Create space to reflect and practise healthy emotional regulation.

The youths had a great time learning the dance steps led by our volunteer Kyla. They also shared that they learned new ways to manage and regulate their emotions. 🌱

𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝘁. 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘁. 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘆. 💛

Our Prison team led a session on Cultivating Joy Through Movement and Community with prison volunteers, prospects, and the Malaysian CARE team.

The session encouraged participants to:

💃 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗷𝗼𝘆: Use simple movement to express happiness and enjoy the moment.

🕺 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀: Build connection and trust through shared activities.

🕴️ 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿: Create a safe space to laugh, move and experience joy as a community.

It was a meaningful time to discover how movement and community can bring joy, strengthen connections and lift our spirits. 🌱

Let’s continue creating safe spaces where people can connect, find joy and grow together.

We thank Bangsar Lutheran Church (The Father's House) for inviting our team to share God’s Word and the work of Malaysian CARE.

👉🏻 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗼𝗱: God meets us in our struggles and sees what we are going through.
👉🏻 𝗘𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗼𝗱: He hears our cries and reminds us that we are not alone.
👉🏻 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗼𝗱: When we experience His goodness, we are called to return with thankful hearts.

Through the story of the ten lepers in Luke 17:11–19, we are reminded that gratitude is an important part of our faith. It is easy to remember what we need, but we can also take time to remember what God has already done. 🙏

May we continue to recognise God’s goodness, give thanks and share His love with others.
