Malaysian AIDS Foundation MAF is an NGO dedicated to advance the interest of People Living with HIV in Malaysia Serving as the fundraising arm of the Malaysian AIDS Council.

The Malaysian AIDS Foundation (MAF) is one of the country’s leading NGO dedicated to the support of HIV / AIDS programs in prevention education, advocacy as well as care, support and treatment. MAF was formally incorporated under the Trustees (Incorporation) Act 1952 on May 13, 2003 and is managed by a Board of Trustees of 10 people. The Malaysian AIDS Foundation is committed to creating a safe en

vironment free from the negative impact of HIV / AIDS for the people of Malaysia. With this, raising and managing funds is done to support the activities of the Malaysian AIDS Council and it 49 Partner Organisations. These include efforts to:

1) Curb the spread of HIV in Malaysia

2) Increase public awareness and knowledge on HIV/AIDS issues

3) Support Malaysians living with HIV, including women and children orphaned or made vulnerable by AIDS

4) Protect the rights of PLHIV who may suffer discrimination due to their HIV status

Ke Arah Reformasi Polisi Dadah yang Lebih Komprehensif!

Delegasi DPPM mengadakan kunjungan hormat ke Pejabat Timbalan Menteri Kesihatan, YB Dato Hajjah Hanifah Hajar Taib bagi membincangkan masa depan polisi dadah negara.

Pertemuan produktif ini telah memberi penekanan kepada beberapa agenda utama:

- Analisis pendekatan sedia ada serta cabaran yang dihadapi.

- Keperluan reformasi polisi dadah menyeluruh dan cadangan pindaan Akta Dadah Berbahaya 1952.

- Sesi pengenalan projek perintis di Sarawak

Langkah ini penting bagi memastikan pendekatan negara sentiasa berpaksikan sains, kesihatan awam, dan kemanusiaan. Bersama kita laksanakan perubahan!

The Malaysian AIDS Foundation Red Ribbon Kota Kinabalu High Tea Celebration 2026, held on 17 May 2026 at Hilton Kota Kinabalu, brought together distinguished leaders, partners, supporters, and advocates united in a vision for a more inclusive and compassionate society.

We were deeply honoured by the presence of YB Datuk Ceasar Mandela Malakun, Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister of Sabah, representing the Chief Minister; YB Dato’ Hajjah Hanifah Hajar Taib, Deputy Minister of Health Malaysia; YBhg Datuk Amar Datin Patinggi Hajah Jamilah Haji Anu, Patron of the Malaysian AIDS Foundation Borneo; and YBhg Prof Datuk Dr Adeeba Kamarulzaman, Chairman of the Malaysian AIDS Foundation.

The celebration featured inspiring performances by our Red Ribbon Celebrity Supporter, Mu'adz Dzulkefly; in-house talent Abdullah Salam; a captivating cultural showcase by Kumpulan Budayawan; and elegant musical performances by The Cosmic Perform.

Hector John, hosting the event as emcee and Boon Creative Asia event organiser for this meaningful occasion. We also thank all partners, supporters, and guests who stand with us in advancing HIV awareness, advocacy, and support for people living with HIV.

Together, we are building a future filled with hope, dignity, and care for all.

At the Malaysian AIDS Foundation Red Ribbon Kota Kinabalu High Tea Celebration 2026 held at Hilton Kota Kinabalu on 17 May 2026, bringing together supporters, partners, and guests in the spirit of compassion and togetherness.

Our Red Ribbon Celebrity Supporter, Mu'adz Dzulkefly, delivered soulful performances of his original song and the timeless classic “Stand by Me,” bringing warmth, unity, and uplifting energy to the celebration.

Adding to the memorable afternoon, our in-house talent Abdullah Salam touched the hearts of guests with his heartfelt rendition of “Anugerah Terindah,” creating a warm and emotional atmosphere throughout the event.

Together, their performances added a beautiful touch to the celebration, reflecting the spirit of compassion, hope, and togetherness that continues to inspire the work of the Malaysian AIDS Foundation.
