Goldreed Industrial Design Award (GIDA) enters Malaysia’s Industrial design landscape. Since mREGA’s involvement with ASEAN-China Design Convergence initiatives last year in 2025 we will continue to promote this strong strategic direction.

mREGA is well positioned to serve as a bridge between ASEAN - China’s creative industries and China’s expanding ecosystem. Building on successful exchanges, exhibitions and collaborative programmes, in 2026 we will focus on creating lasting partnerships that promote innovation, cultural understanding and commercial opportunities.

mREGA is honoured to be invited to organise the Goldreed Industrial Design Award (GIDA). It is one of China’s leading international Industrial design awards established since 2019. It is particularly attractive to companies seeking access to the Chinese market and manufacturing ecosystem. This award is supported by Hebei Provincial government and the Xiongan New area Administrative Committee.

The theme is "Design for Sustainable Future and a Better Life," drawing inspiration from Eastern wisdom. The 2026 competition is officially open and actively seeks submissions across six major categories reflecting future and sustainable developmen.

For more information, Entrants can consult the Goldreed Industrial Design Award Homepage and register their projects via the GIDA Official Registration Portal.
