Distinguished scholars from across Asia, designers, students, and friends were gathered at UCSI University campus on 7 October for the opening of the 2nd International Poster Exhibition of Asian Urban Culture and the “Belt and Road” digital Art Exhibition of China and ASEAN Integration. This is the opening ceremony of the first Overseas tour. From malaysia, selected works will be heading to Bangkok. Followed by exhibitions in several established universities around China.

We were gathered here to celebrate the creative dialogue that connects cultures, histories and shared visions across the ASEAN-China and Asian Regions. The “Belt and Road” initiative has always been more than a route of trade. It is a pathway of exchange – of ideas, aesthetics and identities. Through the eye of graphic design and art, this exhibition bridges and unite people. It translates the pulse of cities, the rhythmn of traditions and aspirations of future into visual identities.

Asia Design Week in collaboration with Malaysian Graphic Design Association (mREGA) initiated this amazing showcase. May our journey together take us to wider territories and insurmountable opportunities.
