Ministry Appreciated Developers Winning on the World Stage

FIABCI Malaysia extends its sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT), led by Minister YB Tuan Nga Kor Ming, for organising a special appreciation event at Kuala Lumpur, hosted by ParkCity Group, on 2 July honouring the Malaysian developers whose outstanding projects were recognised at the FIABCI World Prix d'Excellence Awards 2026 held in Vienna, Austria, both the World Gold Winners and World Silver Winners.

Malaysia achievement at this year's prestigious global awards is a testament to the strength, innovation and quality of our nation's real estate industry. These international accolades reflect the dedication of Malaysian developers in creating sustainable, liveable and world class developments that continue to set new benchmarks.

As part of our ongoing commitment to community engagement, FIABCI Malaysia recently visited the wonderful children at SEMOA! It was a day filled with inspiration, talent, and bright smiles.

The children took the stage with incredible confidence, showcasing their creativity and communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin during the storytelling and public speaking sessions—and they even won trophies! 🏆

The energy was kept high throughout the day with:
▪️A fun Zumba session
▪️Beautiful Orang Asli traditional dances
▪️A fantastic live band performance by the talented SEMOA kids

A heartfelt thank you to our supportive FIABCI Malaysia members and the media — thank you for making this meaningful initiative a huge success!

Sarawak is entering a transformative growth phase, driven by large-scale infrastructure and strategic economic positioning. The Pan Borneo Highway (PBH), alongside key initiatives such as AirBorneo, Bintulu Port control, and Affin Bank investment, reflects a deliberate move towards building a fully integrated economic ecosystem.

With a target to grow from RM148 billion to RM282 billion by 2030, Sarawak’s development is not organic—but powered by energy, industry, and connectivity. The PBH will significantly enhance mobility, reduce logistics costs, and unlock new development corridors.

However, growth will not be uniform. Property opportunities will concentrate around key economic nodes such as Kuching (urban expansion) and Bintulu–Samalaju (industrial powerhouse), while emerging areas like Mukah and Sri Aman offer selective, early-stage potential.
