The International Educational Scientific and Cultural Org (IESCO) signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with the Department of Polytechnic and Community College Education (DPCCE), Malaysia, to enhance cooperation in education, knowledge exchange, and institutional collaboration.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Shamsuri Bin Abdullah, Director General of DPCCE, and Mr. Ayman Hussein, Chief Executive Officer of IESCO, alongside representatives from the University College of Applied Sciences (UCAS), Gaza, and several academic and institutional representatives.
As part of this agreement, the University College of Applied Sciences (UCAS) in Gaza has been granted access to 56 training programmes for students currently studying in Gaza, aiming to enhance their practical skills and strengthen their readiness for the labour market, particularly in key academic and professional fields.
The LoI aims to strengthen strategic partnerships between both parties through collaborative educational initiatives, institutional development, and enhanced engagement with partners and donors to support sustainable and impactful programmes.
During the ceremony, both sides emphasized the importance of international cooperation in advancing education, promoting knowledge exchange, and creating meaningful opportunities that benefit students, institutions, and communities.
