-To provide a medium to bring together businesses with Canadian connections and those interested in doing business or maintaining business links with Canada;
-To create a forum for ideas, opportunities, and personal contacts that w

ill promote education, trade, commerc,e and industry between Malaysia and Canada;
-To support and represent the interests of the membership, including liaising with the governments of Canada and Malaysia;
-To provide information and assist firms seeking to do business in Malaysia and/or Canada; and
-To foster a better understanding and appreciation between the business and social communities of the two countries.

We were pleased to be part of Food & Drinks Malaysia by SIAL (FDM) 2026, where the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CanCham) participated in the ChamberLink Exchange and engaged with businesses at the CanCham booth throughout the exhibition.

A highlight of the event was the Closing Fireside Chat, "Stronger Together: How Chamber Collaboration Creates Business Opportunities," where our President, Nancy Fortner, joined fellow chamber leaders to discuss how stronger inter-chamber collaboration can help businesses expand their networks, access new markets, and unlock greater opportunities for growth.

Guided by the theme "Turning Connections into Trade: Driving Market Access & Business Growth Through Chamber Networks," ChamberLink Exchange demonstrated the importance of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and meaningful business connections in strengthening the wider business community.

Beyond the panel discussion, it was a pleasure connecting with exhibitors, industry stakeholders, chamber partners, and visitors at the CanCham booth, exchanging ideas and showcasing the value of the Canada–Malaysia business network.
