Food Aid Foundation is a non-profit governmental organization (NGO) incorporated on 2013 that is a โ€˜Food Bankโ€™ where manufacturers, distributors, wholesaler, retailers, companies or people can donate their unused or unwanted foods which will then be collected and distributed to charitable/welfare homes, volunteer welfare organisation, refugees community, poor families, destitute and soup kitchen.

โ€‹In short we rescue surplus food from the supply chain and distributing it to people in need.

On 13 June 2026, Food Aid Foundation organized a Digital Literacy Class involving 40 children from Pure Life Society (Shuddha Samajam).

Led by Mr. Atif, the class exposed the children with knowledge and skills in digital platforms utilization through interactive games and theoretical approach.

Every wasted food wastes the water, energy, land and resources used to produce it. Food waste that ended up in landfills contributes to climate change and environmental degradation due to the released methane.

At Food Aid Foundation, we remain committed to addressing this issue by rescuing edible surplus food from manufacturers and distributors, preventing it from going to waste while ensuring it reaches underprivileged communities who need it most.

On 23 May 2026, Food Aid Foundation successfully conducted a Digital Literacy Class at Rumah Victory Youth and Children Home with the generous support of UOB Heartbeat.

Led by Mr. Atif, 15 children were introduced to basic computer skills, typing exercises and interactive educational games designed to make learning both engaging and enjoyable.

Through initiatives like this, Food Aid Foundation remains committed to empowering children with essential digital skills and creating opportunities for a brighter future. ๐ŸŒŸ
