50 years of God’s goodness, and we’re still blown away! ✨

On behalf of the 1stKLBB Junior Anniversary Service committee, we just want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who made our Junior Section’s 50th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service so special!

Putting all this up was truly a team effort. From setting up the hall to running the tech and practicing with the members to bring out their best to managing the BTS, every single person played an important part in bringing it all together.

Thank you to all our members, officers, our sponsoring church Wesley Methodist Church KL WMCKL, alumni, and beloved parents for coming out strong to celebrate 50 incredible years of 1st KL Boys’ Brigade Junior section history with us. We couldn't have done it without you! 🙌💛

50 years of shaping young lives! 💙🎉

During our recent 1stKLBB Junior Section's 50th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service, our pastor drew a powerful parallel between the Samaritan woman in John 4 and our calling as Boys' Brigade Officers.

Just as her life-changing encounter with Jesus compelled her to tell others, we are called to share Christ's love joyfully with our members and community. 50 years ago, our founder created a place of belonging for young boys - today, we must break modern barriers to proclaim God's faithfulness to a new generation.

Our theme says it all: "Go Tell It to the Mountain." ⛰️✨ It is our steady duty to share what Jesus has done and continues to do in our lives!

Ask any Boys’ Brigade Officer about their ultimate dream and they will tell you the same thing: watching a member walk through our doors as a wide-eyed young boy, growing through the years through every section, and finally stepping out into the world as a respectable, confident gentleman.

The Pre-Junior section isn’t just where the fun begins—it’s the foundation of our entire Company. 🏛️

Every game played, every badge earned and every small victory built at this stage plants the seeds for:

🔹 Leadership skills

A big shout-out to all the Boys' Brigade Staff Sergeants - past and present! 🙌✨

From staying on top of the latest online trends to doing full drill movements just to hand out snacks to the Boys - our Staff Sergeants take their job very seriously! (And yes, they run almost entirely on coffee, teh Tarik, and sweet treats) ☕️🧋🍩🫡

Thank you for all your hard work and dedication in guiding the next generation.

Although this story is fictional, the reality behind it is all too real.

So many boys walk through our doors carrying heavy, invisible burdens from home or school and told to "tough it out" while they suffer in silence.

But at the Boys' Brigade, no one has to carry that weight alone.

BB is more than just badges and activities. It's a sanctuary. A safe space where every single boy is Seen , Heard , and truly Belongs .

You are not invisible here. You are with family. ⚓️
