Oneworld Toastmasters Club Meeting #353 on 25 June 2026 will be the final meeting of the 2025–2026 term. We are delighted to have Shamen serving as our Toastmaster of the Evening, leading us through the inspiring theme: "Silent Strength."

This thought-provoking theme opens the door to many reflections. It reminds us of the unsung heroes in our lives—those whom we respect and admire for their quiet dedication, selfless contributions, and unwavering support without expecting recognition or reward. They may be our family members, friends, mentors, or anyone whose strength speaks louder than words.

As we bring this Toastmasters term to a close, let us celebrate the people who have made a difference in our journey and reflect on the lessons, friendships, and achievements we have shared throughout the year.

Oneworld Toastmasters Club Meeting #350 was a truly vibrant and memorable gathering, highlighted by the induction of eight wonderful ladies and the exciting on-the-spot sign-up of one gentleman.

With the lively theme, “If Not Now, Then When?”, the atmosphere was so inspiring that everyone eagerly wanted to participate in the Table Topics session. The energy in the room was electric, and the two-hour meeting passed in what felt like the blink of an eye.

We were treated to speeches from three speakers, including two new members who courageously delivered their Ice Breaker and Communication Styles speeches. I was immensely proud of their proactive spirit and enthusiasm to begin their Toastmasters journey immediately.

Adding to the excitement, two new members also volunteered to take on technical roles, demonstrating their willingness to contribute and grow as leaders from day one.

I am truly proud to witness the rise of this new generation of aspiring leaders in our club—because at Toastmasters, this is truly “Where Leaders Are Made.”

Oneworld Toastmasters Club Meeting #349, themed “Earth Day, Everyday,” was truly meaningful—a gentle reminder that caring for our planet is not a once-a-year effort, but a daily commitment to preserving nature and protecting our environment.

We were delighted to have Charles Tan, DTM, as our General Evaluator, whose wit and humor brought energy and warmth to the room. It was especially heartening to welcome several guests who joined us in person, adding fresh perspectives and vibrancy to the evening.

It was yet another joyful night of learning, connecting, and fellowship—time well spent with like-minded individuals who share a passion for growth and purpose.

Oneworld Toastmasters Club Open Day on 9 April 2026 was more than just a meeting—it was a celebration of teamwork, growth, and shared passion.

From the engaging contributions of our external role players to the inspiring session on “How to Be a Confident Speaker,” every segment added value. The meeting flowed seamlessly under the leadership of our Toastmaster of the Day, while our project speaker delivered with confidence and purpose.

What made the evening truly special was the collective spirit—members stepping up, guests joining in, and a room (both physical and virtual) filled with encouragement and positivity.

It ended on a high note, reminding us that when everyone gives their best, excellence naturally follows.
