The Malaysia Digital Chamber of Commerce (MDCC) welcomes the initiative by the Sabah Maju Jaya (SMJ) Secretariat to establish a dedicated task force following the SMJ 2.0 Forum, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen industry engagement and policy coordination.

This proactive step reflects a more structured approach to public-private collaboration, bringing together government agencies and industry stakeholders to translate dialogue into actionable outcomes that support Sabah’s economic development agenda.

MDCC believes that such mechanisms are crucial in ensuring that business feedback is continuously captured, aligned, and integrated into policy ex*****on, particularly in areas impacting SMEs, investment readiness, and the digital economy.

As Sabah continues to advance its SMJ 2.0 development plan, stronger collaboration between government and industry will be key in driving sustainable growth and long-term competitiveness.
