A wish gives children renewed energy and strength, brings families closer together. It motivates sick children to fight harder against the medical challenges they face. Make-A-Wish is the largest wish-granting organization in the world and can be found in nearly 50 countries around the globe. Make-A-Wish Malaysia is an affiliate of Make-A-Wish International and is registered with the Malaysian Registrar of Societies, granting more than 600 wishes since it started in 2010. Make-A-Wish International serves children outside the United States on five continents, while Make-A-Wish America grants the wishes of children in the United States, Guam and Puerto Rico through its 62 chapters. With the help of generous donors and over 30,000 volunteers, Make-A-Wish has granted more than 300,000 wishes worldwide since inception.

Behind every child’s journey towards a brighter tomorrow are doctors who care, encourage and never stop trying. 💙

Beyond the treatments and hospital visits are children who deserve to laugh, dream and simply enjoy being children. To the doctors from the hospitals we work closely with, thank you for standing by these children and their families through difficult days, bringing comfort when it’s needed most, and working alongside us to bring joy back to their lives.

These little sweet treats are just a small way of saying how much we appreciate all that you do.

Riyadh loves being outdoors, especially playing with water. His wish for a day at Sunway Lagoon gave him and his siblings a chance to explore, play and simply enjoy being together. From meeting the animals at the Wildlife Park to splashing around at the water attractions, Riyadh spent the day doing what children do best: having fun.

Away from hospital routines, it was a chance for Riyadh and his family to reconnect, create happy memories and enjoy childhood together. For his parents, seeing him so happy made the day especially meaningful.

For Aisya, a three-day trip to Genting Highlands became a chance to embrace the beauty of nature and create precious memories with her family. From the cable car, she finally got to take in the lush green forest she had always dreamed of seeing.

It was the first time the whole family had travelled together, making every view, every laugh and every moment shared even more meaningful. Away from the routines of treatment, Aisya had the space to simply be herself and enjoy time with the people she loves most.

Our recent Volunteer Touchpoint was all about coming together, reconnecting and celebrating the people who help make wishes possible.

Our WishMakers shared unforgettable Wish Day moments, exchanged ideas and opened up about the experiences that have stayed with them. There was laughter, heartfelt reflections and plenty of inspiration around the table. (And we met our tiniest WishMaker yet! 👶💙 Fatah brought along his newborn for a sweet little introduction to the team!)

As an organisation dedicated to granting life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, Make-A-Wish Malaysia joins the nation in mourning the passing of Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali.

A pioneer in Malaysia’s healthcare landscape, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah devoted much of her medical career to maternal and child health. She became the first woman appointed as a Medical Officer in the Maternal and Child Health Department in Kedah, and later, in 1974, the state’s first female Maternal and Child Health Officer. Throughout her life, her advocacy for women, mothers and children reflected her deep commitment to the health and wellbeing of future generations.

Her compassion and dedication to the wellbeing of children and families leave behind a lasting legacy that continues to inspire those who serve them.

May the late Tun Dr Siti Hasmah’s legacy of care and service live on, and may she rest in peace. Our deepest condolences to Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, her family and loved ones.

🚨 Officer Hafiz reporting for duty! 🚔💙

At just 3 years old, Hafiz is undergoing treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. Yet whenever he spots a police car, his eyes light up. The flashing lights, the siren, the excitement... he simply loves it!

When Hafiz wished for a child-sized police car to ride with his twin brother, we wanted to make his wish about more than the car. We brought him into the world he loves. From riding in a real police car and meeting the officers, to watching a police salute and roll-call, Hafiz got to experience his favourite world up close. And then came the moment he got the keys to his very own police car.

A heartfelt thank you to our Royal Patron, Yang Amat Mulia Tengku Zatashah , for celebrating this special day with Hafiz and his family, and to our Chairman, Datuk Stuart Ramalingam .ramalingam and his wife, Datin Thevi Kulendran , for generously sponsoring Hafiz's wish.

A little creativity, a lot of teamwork, and a whole lot of heart! ✨

As part of their CSR efforts, the team at the Tokio Marine Asia 2026 Regional Finance Conference came together for a Trees of Joy activity, a fundraising initiative where participants decorate festive trees that are later sold to raise funds in support of children with critical illnesses.

Each team thoughtfully decorated their tree with its own story, personality and festive spirit, with every detail reflecting the creativity and care they put into making something meaningful.

The trees were generously donated to be sold at an upcoming charity bazaar, with the proceeds supporting our mission. 💙

And that’s not all! They also generously donated RM7,000 towards Jian Min’s wish. A special thank you to Mr. Koichi Tao, Head of Finance at Tokio Marine Asia, and the Tokio Marine Life Malaysia team .my for making this collaboration possible and ensuring all the supplies were prepared and ready for the activity. We truly appreciate your support in bringing this initiative to life!

At 5 years old, Uwais has been navigating life with a brain tumour. After surgery to remove a 6cm tumour and two weeks in the ICU, he continued with treatment before learning that his tumour has grown back.

Through it all, Uwais remains cheerful, curious and always dreaming big. Uwais’ wish was to have a party at home with his family, cousins and relatives.

Knowing how much Uwais loves firefighters, our team and volunteers transformed his home into a firefighter-themed celebration, bringing his family together for a day of fun, laughter and activities. And of course, Uwais got to dress the part and enjoy his very own firefighter adventure!

A heartfelt thank you to , Messrs. Moideen & Max, for sponsoring Uwais’ wish and travelling all the way to his hometown to celebrate with him and his family.
