Women Of Will Women Of Will is an NGO that empowers low-income women entrepreneurs from underserved communities through training, coaching and capital.

Women Of Will aims to transform the lives of disadvantaged women and their communities through micro-credit financing combined with an Entrepreneurial Development Program. We helps single mothers, widows, abandoned women and women with incapacitated husbands living in poverty and uncertainty, struggling to get by day to day. Supporting both international and national objectives in eradicating poverty, our efforts are focused on the bottom 40% household incomes (B40s), prioritising single mothers as they are most economically vulnerable, having to support themselves and their children. This falls in line with the Government’s 11th Malaysian Plan, which looks at uplifting the lives of single mothers who constitute 80% of single parenthood families. Since 2009, we have worked to give a new lease of life to hundreds of refugees in collaboration with UNHCR, the urban poor in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, and in Perak. These women have been empowered to initiate their own small businesses and today, are financially independent and able to care for themselves and their families without having to rely on handouts. Their business ventures have been developed to become sustainable business ventures that have shown growth and profitability, and most important, sustainability.

Community Wellbeing Day 💜

Celebrating heritage, bringing communities together! 🎉

Women Of Will (WOW), together with the Keramat Pangsa community, organised a vibrant Community Wellbeing Day filled with traditional sports, folk games, cultural activities and community engagement.

From congkak and batu seremban to tug-of-war, colouring activities and futsal, residents of all ages came together to enjoy a day of fun, connection and shared experiences. 🪁⚽🤝

We were honoured to welcome YB Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin bin Ali, ADN for Hulu Kelang, who joined residents and officiated the event.

A heartfelt thank you to for their continued support in making this initiative possible. We also extend our appreciation to the Keramat Pangsa community, Persatuan Penduduk RP AU2, our wellbeing partners, volunteers and everyone who contributed to the success of the event. 💐

Through activities that celebrate our cultural heritage and encourage participation, we hope to continue creating inclusive spaces where communities can connect, strengthen relationships and thrive together. 🌱💜

Women Of Will (WOW) is looking for a proactive and hands-on Project Assistant to support our entrepreneurship and community development programmes. If you enjoy connecting with people, organising activities, and making a real difference in communities, we’d love to hear from you! 🌱

💼 WHAT YOU’LL DO
🤝 Coordinate entrepreneurship and community development programmes
🫶 Engage with beneficiaries, facilitators and community leaders
📋 Organise training sessions, coaching, outreach and field activities
📊 Monitor progress and prepare reports
🚗 Support event logistics and fieldwork to keep things running smoothly

✨ WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
✅ Available to commit for 3 months and ready to start immediately
✅ Has own transport and a valid driving licence
✅ Responsible, organised and comfortable working with diverse communities
✅ Familiar with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
✅ Willing to travel and get involved in hands-on fieldwork

💰 THE DETAILS
💵 Monthly fee: RM2,500
🚗 Travel allowance provided
📅 Duration: 2–3 months

✨ Skills Training 2 | GROW in Sabah Programme

Building stronger businesses, one skill at a time! 💜🌱

Women Of Will (WOW) successfully conducted Skills Training 2 for women entrepreneurs from Kg. Nandagan and Kg. Kiulu Baru & Pauh, Sabah.

The training covered two key modules:

💰 Cost Calculation, Pricing & Profit — helping participants better understand their business costs, set suitable prices and manage profitability.

📦 Basic Packaging & Branding for Rural Products — introducing ways to improve product presentation and build stronger brand identities.

The sessions encouraged active participation and knowledge-sharing, equipping women entrepreneurs with practical skills to strengthen and grow their businesses. 📈✨

We were also delighted to welcome 10 mentors from previous WOW programmes in Kg. Tuawon and Kg. Sinua. Their experiences and entrepreneurial journeys offered valuable insights, inspiration and encouragement to fellow participants. 🤝💜

Q3 Townhall & Reflection Session 🏎️

Sometimes, we move like a bullet train. Other times, we move like KTM.

So for our Q3 Townhall, we decided to be an ETS for a while — to slow down just enough to reflect, appreciate how far we’ve come, and enjoy the ride. ❤️

Our quarterly Townhalls are more than reviewing KPIs. They are a space for the Women Of Will team to come together, revisit the values that guide us, have honest conversations about what worked and what didn’t, and recognise the people behind the work.

This quarter, we reflected on the three directions we set for ourselves at the beginning of 2026: moving from programmes to ecosystems, from claims to evidence, and from donor dependence towards greater financial resilience.

But perhaps the most meaningful part was simply taking the time to look at the people around us.

We celebrated colleagues who stepped up when things became difficult, those whose quiet contributions helped others succeed, and those who continued to carry the team when more was asked of them. Because while strategies, systems and KPIs matter, organisations ultimately move because of people.

As Anna Wintour once said:

“You are nothing, nothing, without a good team.”

And Q3 reminded us just how fortunate we are to have ours. 💛

Onwards to Q4 — perhaps at ETS speed this time. 😄🏁

What an inspiring day at Training 1 under the GROWING RURAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN (GROW) in Sabah's Programme!

We brought together 17 women entrepreneurs for a day of entrepreneurship learning, sharing and practical guidance. The participants were enthusiastic throughout the session, particularly during the entrepreneurship sharing and guidance led by Trainer Amran Jinjing.

We were also joined by youth representatives, who received a briefing on their roles in supporting the programme, including how digital tools and IT can help women entrepreneurs develop and promote their businesses.

Our heartfelt appreciation to Yayasan TM (YTM) for the continued support in creating opportunities for women entrepreneurs to learn, grow and strengthen their businesses. 💙

When women have the opportunity to grow, communities grow with them. 🌱
