Women Of Will Women Of Will is an NGO that empowers low-income women entrepreneurs from underserved communities through training, coaching and capital.

Women Of Will aims to transform the lives of disadvantaged women and their communities through micro-credit financing combined with an Entrepreneurial Development Program. We helps single mothers, widows, abandoned women and women with incapacitated husbands living in poverty and uncertainty, struggling to get by day to day. Supporting both international and national objectives in eradicating pove

rty, our efforts are focused on the bottom 40% household incomes (B40s), prioritising single mothers as they are most economically vulnerable, having to support themselves and their children. This falls in line with the Government’s 11th Malaysian Plan, which looks at uplifting the lives of single mothers who constitute 80% of single parenthood families. Since 2009, we have worked to give a new lease of life to hundreds of refugees in collaboration with UNHCR, the urban poor in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, and in Perak. These women have been empowered to initiate their own small businesses and today, are financially independent and able to care for themselves and their families without having to rely on handouts. Their business ventures have been developed to become sustainable business ventures that have shown growth and profitability, and most important, sustainability.

Over the past two days, home visits were conducted to prospective participants of the Yayasan TM (YTM) programme in Nandagan 😊

The purpose of these visits was to assess the participants' existing businesses and agricultural activities, which form part of the participant selection process for the programme.

Thank you to all prospective participants for warmly welcoming the team and sharing their entrepreneurial and agricultural journeys with us. We look forward to continuing the assessment process and supporting more communities through this initiative 💪

The second meeting was successfully held at Dewan Kg. Kiulu Baru for a programme briefing and registration session for B40 women under the WOW initiative, sponsored by Yayasan TM 😊

A total of 23 prospective participants attended the session, where they received information about the programme and completed their registration forms.

The 3rd training session on Financial Literacy was successfully conducted last weekend at Pangsapuri Permai together with our trainer, Coach Raja 🤵‍♂️

The women entrepreneurs demonstrated great enthusiasm and active participation throughout the training as they explored practical ways to manage their business finances more effectively and systematically 💰📘

To support their learning journey, each participant received an accounting record book to help track and manage financial transactions in a more organised manner✨

The training provided valuable knowledge and practical tools, helping to strengthen financial literacy, build confidence, and support the growth of their businesses 📈💪

Thank you and for having us over for the SPACES (Strengthening Peace through Arts, Culture & Sports) kick-off meeting.

Women Of Will is truly grateful for the opportunity to implement the SPACES Project, which will engage 252 youths across 51 communities in Klang Valley through arts, culture, and sports.

Through this project, we look forward to supporting youth participation, strengthening social cohesion, and creating meaningful community engagement within the underserved communities.

✨ Empowering Communities Through Knowledge ✨

The first training session for the PPR Raya Permai Community Kitchen participants was successfully conducted.

The training focused on corporate packaging and branding, while also providing valuable insights into company registration and halal certification. Participants showed great enthusiasm throughout the session and were especially engaged during the sharing on branding and business registration.

Initial Engagement with Community Leader at PPR Kota Bharu

🤝Women Of Will (WOW) conducted an introductory engagement session with Puan Zuliana, Chairperson of the KRT PPR Kota Bharu.

✨The purpose of this meeting was to present an overview of WOW, including the upcoming programme, its objectives, and the intended impact on the local community. The session also focused on building rapport and establishing a collaborative relationship to support the integration of WOW initiatives within the PPR Kota Bharu community.

📌In addition, preliminary discussions were held on initiating the participant recruitment process, marking an important first step towards programme implementation on the ground.
