❤️ Lions Club of KL Parkcity | Community Care Day at Setapak Methodist Church on 16th Aug 2026 🩺🩸✨

What an incredible day of community spirit and health awareness! The Lions Club of KL Parkcity was truly blessed to host our Community Care Day at Setapak Methodist Church! 🏛️🤝

Our main focus for the day was bringing the community together to support a life-saving cause: blood donation. Blood is a gift that costs nothing to give but means everything to a patient in critical need. 🩸💪 To provide holistic care for everyone who attended, we also partnered with fantastic health collaborators to offer free health screenings, helping our community stay proactive about their wellness! 📊🩺

We are deeply touched and overwhelmingly grateful for the warm hospitality, enthusiasm, and support from the leadership and members of Setapak Methodist Church! 🙏✨

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we achieved a wonderful milestone:

🤝 Lions Club of KL Parkcity | Official Visit by Region 5 Chairperson & Zone 11 Chairperson on 12th Aug 2026🦁✨

We were truly honored to welcome Region Chair Lion Vincent Liew and Zone Chair Lion Camilia Siaw for their very first official visit to the Lions Club of KL Parkcity for the 2026–2027 fiscal year! 🏛️💙

It was a meaningful and productive session focused on genuine connection and support. Rather than a formal formality, RC Lion Vincent and ZC Lion Camilia took the time to listen closely to our club’s practical needs, operational goals, and how the district can actively assist us in maximizing our community impact this term. 🌟🙌

True leadership is rooted in service and care—and that extends to looking after our leaders, too! Following a late-night discussion, we made sure our esteemed guests were treated to a warm, hearty meal before heading home. 🍲😋 Heartfelt conversations over good food are always the best way to strengthen our bond as a Lions family!

A sincere thank you to RC Lion Vincent Liew and ZC Lion Camilia Siaw for their dedication, guidance, and encouraging support as we kick off this new service year. Together, we serve! 💪✨

Serving the Segambut community with heart! 💙✨

We were honored to serve as a supporting partner for the Jom Gerak OK! U & Me event last Saturday (01/08/26) at Pusat Komuniti Taman Menjalara! It turned out to be a resounding success, thanks to Feminine, the main organiser who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to prepare and run such a seamless event, alongside the incredible support from MPP Segambut and YB Hannah Yeoh’s team.

🦁 Serving Together for a Better Tomorrow! 🦁

Recently, three of our club representatives attended the Kuala Lumpur Lions Renal Centre BOM & BOD meeting for Fiscal Year 2026–2027!

We are immensely proud to see our club members stepping up to serve in key leadership roles:
👏 Ln Jason Wong – Chairman of the Board of Management (BOM)
👏 Ln Wendy Soon – Treasurer of the Board of Management (BOM)
👏 Ln Joyce Sin (our Club President) – Committee Member of the Board of Directors (BOD)

During the meeting, Past District Governor (PDG) Lau Teng Chye shared an inspiring reminder of how this meaningful journey began back in 2002:
🔹 Foundation Incorporation: On September 6, 2002, the KL Lions Foundation was incorporated, driven by the shared vision of dedicated Lions Clubs across the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur.
🔹 Opening Its Doors: Just a month later, in October 2002, the Kuala Lumpur Lions Renal Centre officially began operations.
🔹 Core Mission: Founded to provide affordable, heavily subsidized dialysis treatment to end-stage renal failure patients from lower-income communities, ensuring financial hardship never stands in the way of life-saving care.
🔹 Community-Powered: To this day, the centre relies on the generosity of public donors and charitable organizations to sustain its mission.

We remain committed to supporting the centre and look forward to serving even more needy communities in the future! Heartfelt thanks to everyone who continues to make this impactful work possible. 💙✨

🌱 A Productive Day of Service, Collaboration & Fellowship last Sunday (19/07)! 🦁

Our members had a meaningful and fulfilling day participating in a series of Zone activities:

♻️ Zone Recycling Project: Kicking off the day by taking action for our environment! Thank you to everyone who contributed recyclable items and helped support our commitment to a greener community.

📋 Zone Meeting: A productive session aligning our goals, exchanging ideas, and planning upcoming service projects together with fellow clubs in the Zone.

🍽️ Fellowship Lunch: Capping off a great morning over a delicious meal, laughter, and strengthening bonds among our Lions family.

A big thank you to our Zone leadership, participating clubs, and every member who attended and made these events a success! Together, We Serve. 💙🦁
