Our Story

It all started as a CSR Project for FSTEP (Financial Sector Talent Enrichment Programme). For this project, our main objective is to create a platform for the homeless communities in Klang Valley, Malaysia to have easy access to clean showers on a regular basis.

In order to achieve this objective, we reached out to “Uncle Bugs,” a local Malaysian inventor, who invented the “Lite Shower” (portable shower). He generously agreed to give it to us in advance at a discounted price of RM3,000 (original price being RM5,000). Hence, another objective of ours is to raise funds of min RM3,000 to cover for the Lite Shower unit and various other expenses (e.g. marketing and advertising materials, toiletries provided to the homeless). Therefore, we would sincerely appreciate any donations, small or big in amount, as all donations will make a huge difference in our venture, the “Lite Shower Project.”

However, as our programme ends on 30th of July, 2018, we would only be able to provide this service to the homeless community for the next two months. We’re currently in the process of scouting out suitable locations to provide this service to the homeless communities around Klang Valley. In the meantime, we’re also looking for suitable NGOs to collaborate with and possibly take over this project on a long-term basis to ensure that this initiative that we have started will have a sustainable impact for the homeless communities around Klang Valley.
