This morning, we had the pleasure of hosting award-winning environmental filmmaker and conservationist Colin Butfield, director and producer of numerous David Attenborough documentaries, for a walk through Bukit Kiara Federal Park.

Our President, Boon Hua Tan, and Advisor, Dr Kribanandan Gurusamy Naidu, shared the story of Bukit Kiara’s transformation from a rubber plantation into a secondary forest, highlighting the rich biodiversity that thrives in this urban green space. Colin was in town for the Global Tipping Points Conference 2026 at the Sunway Centre for Planetary Health where he premiered his new documentary, How to Live on Earth, presented by Benedict Cumberbatch.
