Thank you, Lions Clubs International District 308-B1 and Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia (JBPM), for giving Pertubuhan Kebajikan Lifelink Seribu Kasih (LSK) the opportunity to participate in the World Drowning Prevention Carnival 2026.
We were honoured to be allocated a booth to raise awareness of LSK's mission and connect with members of the public on the importance of supporting underprivileged patients and families requiring homecare assistance.

It was a meaningful day of community engagement, and we are grateful to everyone who stopped by our booth, learned about our work, and showed their support.

Throwback to the Sustainability & CSR Malaysia Awards 2026!

We are grateful to CSR Malaysia for the opportunity to participate as an exhibitor and connect with many familiar corporate partners, as well as meet new organisations committed to creating positive social impact.

The event also gave us the opportunity to share an important milestone in LSK's journey, our recent approval for tax-exempt status under Subsection 44(6) of the Income Tax Act 1967 (pending completion of the remaining administrative process with LHDN).

Thank you, CSR Malaysia, for providing a meaningful platform that fosters collaboration between businesses and NGOs. We look forward to building more impactful partnerships and supporting more vulnerable families across Malaysia.

We’re honoured to be featured by CSR Malaysia in their latest press release, *“LSK: A Trusted Lifeline for Post-Hospital Homecare.”*

This feature shines a light on something many people don’t see, what happens after a patient leaves the hospital. That’s where LSK steps in, supporting families with essential medical equipment and care so recovery can continue safely at home.

We’re grateful to CSR Malaysia for recognising this work and helping bring more attention to the real challenges families face, and how simple, practical support can make a big difference.

We’ll keep doing what we can, and keep working with partners like JKM WPKL to reach more people who need help.

Bagi Mr. Yip, keperluan asas seperti lampin merupakan satu keperluan penting dalam penjagaan harian beliau.

Keluarganya berusaha sedaya upaya untuk memenuhi keperluan tersebut, namun kekangan kewangan menjadikan ia satu beban yang berterusan.

Baru-baru ini, LSK telah menyalurkan bantuan lampin dewasa bagi menyokong penjagaan harian beliau.

Walaupun tidak banyak, bantuan ini memberi impak yang besar dari segi keselesaan, kebersihan serta pemeliharaan maruah diri beliau.

Some days, she forgets.

Simple things.
Familiar faces.
Even whether she has eaten.

Living with dementia is not easy,
not for her,
and not for the family caring for her.

They try their best.
Gently reminding.
Watching over her.
Making sure she is safe and nourished.

But it is not always easy.

Recently, LSK stepped in.

We provided Mdm Lee with Glucerna to support her daily nutrition.

A small support,
but one that helps ensure she receives the nourishment she needs,
even on days when eating becomes difficult.

Sometimes, something small can mean everything.

This man was sleeping on a thin mattress… on a low bed.

No proper support.
No comfort.
Just getting through each day.

His family tried their best, but caring for him wasn’t easy.

Recently, LSK stepped in.

Through our Free Medical Equipment Loan Program (Pinjaman Percuma), we provided Mr. Mankayarkarase with a hospital bed and a proper foam mattress.

A simple change, but now he can rest better,
and his family can care for him with less worry.

Sometimes, something small can mean everything.

Your support makes this possible. This bed was once donated to us.
We refurbished it, sanitised it, repaired what was needed,
and today, it is helping another family in need.

Somewhere out there, a family is quietly yet tirelessly caring for a loved one at home.

A son learning how to turn his bedridden father to prevent bedsores.
A wife doing her best to care for someone she loves.
A daughter sleeping on the floor beside a low-lying bed.

For many families, home care is a daily challenge, often faced without much support.

This is where Pertubuhan Kebajikan Lifelink Seribu Kasih (LSK) steps in.

We support underprivileged families caring for sick, elderly, or bedridden loved ones at home by providing essential medical equipment and homecare guidance, resources they may not otherwise have access to.

Every day for this family is a learning process. The son watches carefully, remembering what the doctors and nurses taught before discharge, turn slowly, check the skin, make sure his father is comfortable. Sometimes he worries about doing it wrong.

The mother quietly checks on her husband, adjusts pillows, ensures he eats, and sits beside him longer than she used to.

Meals are planned around medications. Sleep comes in short moments. Everyone listens for movement from the room.

The daughter sleeps nearby at night not because anyone asked, but because it feels safer.

For countless families across Malaysia, these quiet struggles happen inside their homes. There is love, but also fatigue, uncertainty, and worry. Many do their best with very limited resources.

With the right support, caregiving becomes safer, more manageable, and dignified for both the patient and the family.

At LSK, we believe no family should have to face home care alone. Behind every request is a real family trying their best during a difficult time and knowing help exists can make all the difference.
