SSEAYP International Malaysia
THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION OF THE SHIP FOR SOUTHEAST ASIAN AND JAPANESE YOUTH PROGRAM, MALAYSIA (KABESA) / SSEAYP INTERNATIONAL MALAYSIA (SI MALAYSIA)
The history of SSEAYP International Malaysia, also known as KABESA started back in the early 1980s. Many returning participants of the Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Program (SSEAYP), since 1974 were actively
involved to provide assistance to the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) in various international exchange programs, specifically SSEAYP. After several years sitting underneath the guidance of the Malaysian Youth Council, the Alumni Association of the Ship for Southeast Asian/Japan Youth Program (in short KABESA), was officially registered as an independant organisation under the Registrar of Society. To-date, the membership of SI Malaysia has grown over 1,400 members; that comprises mainly from all ex-participants of SSEAYP (ex-pys) who are automatically converted as a member upon the completion of the program. SI MALAYSIA OBJECTIVES

To continuously assist the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the ex*****on of SSEAYP, and other activities by the ministry. ACTIVITIES
