Official Notice of Postponement

The Islamic Medical Association of Malaysia (IMAM) regrets to announce the postponement of the 27th IMAM Annual Scientific Conference (ASC) 2026, originally scheduled to be held on 24–25 October 2026 at The Everly Putrajaya.

This decision has been made following careful consideration of unforeseen circumstances and with the utmost priority placed on ensuring that the conference is conducted to the highest possible standard and in keeping with the quality and expectations of our delegates, speakers, presenters and the wider IMAM community.

We sincerely regret any inconvenience, disruption, or disappointment that this postponement may cause. We deeply value your understanding and continued confidence in IMAM.

The new date for the 27th IMAM ASC will be announced in due course. Our organising team is currently working diligently to finalise the necessary arrangements, and further information will be communicated as soon as the new arrangements are confirmed.

We thank you for your patience, understanding, and unwavering support during this time. We remain fully committed to delivering a meaningful, impactful and high-quality IMAM Annual Scientific Conference, and we look forward to welcoming you to the 27th IMAM ASC on its rescheduled date.

We sincerely appreciate your continued trust and support and we look forward to coming together once again for a conference worthy of the IMAM community.

The 24th FIMA International Camp for Medical Students 2026

This year, the camp was held in the highland of Karanganyar, an agrotourism village full of crops and nature sites.

Throughout the camp, we learn on how to plan, discuss and execute medical community outreach programmes which benefits the locals wellbeing. Under the guidance from wise doctors like Dr Riyadh, Dr Hussam, Dr Ayyob, Dr Samir and Dr Yusuf, who are well versed in volunteering field, we felt inspired to follow their path and benefits the ummah in the future.

With 120 friends of various races and from 14 countries countries, we had fun times together doing sports, cultural nights and spiritual breaks. In the evening we did water polo, walk on a rope bridge, flying fox and fishing. On the full sightseeing day, we explore tea farm and springs inside the jungle of Karanganyar. Between those times, we still remember our Creator with prayer, sermon and reciting Quran.

A huge thank you and appreciation to all the organizers who made the camp a success. Those memories are the best and one of its own in our life. We will never forget the lesson we earned and friendship we built along the journey.
