🌱 A green building's success is measured not on the day it is certified, but by how it continues to perform years later.

On 26 May 2026, GBI had the privilege of reviewing Menara Hong Leong (Hong Leong Tower)'s second Renewal & Verification Assessment (RVA).

We are pleased to congratulate the Hong Leong team on successfully achieving a GBI Silver Rating, reflecting their ongoing commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.

The RVA process is an important part of the GBI certification framework. It ensures that certified buildings continue to maintain the environmental standards, energy efficiency and sustainability performance established during their original certification.

What stood out during the presentation was Hong Leong's dedication to continuous improvement and their commitment to embracing GBI as part of their broader sustainability vision.

This achievement demonstrates that sustainability is not a one-time accomplishment. It requires ongoing effort, monitoring, innovation and commitment from building owners and operators.

As one of Malaysia's leading financial institutions, Hong Leong is setting a positive example for the banking sector and showing how organisations can lead through action.

Congratulations to the entire team on this important milestone.

Together, we continue to build a more sustainable, resilient and low-carbon future for Malaysia.

πŸ’¬ How does your organisation ensure sustainability remains a priority long after certification?
