📣 An important update from ScoutLink
ScoutLink will not be open to the general public during October 2026, including the JOTA-JOTI weekend.
JOTA-JOTI brings thousands of Scouts and Guides together online. Running ScoutLink at this scale requires significant support across moderation, safeguarding, volunteer coordination, training and our technical teams.
Following a careful review of our preparations for this year, ScoutLink Council has decided that the responsible choice is not to open our public chat and gaming services during October.
⚠️ This is a temporary decision. ScoutLink is not closing.
Our volunteers will continue working behind the scenes as we strengthen the network and begin preparing for JOTA-JOTI 2027.
We would also like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has volunteered with ScoutLink, both throughout the year and during previous JOTA-JOTI events. Your time and commitment are what make ScoutLink possible.
JOTA-JOTI 2026 is still taking place from 16–18 October, and we encourage Scouts and Guides to explore the activities available through the official JOTA-JOTI website.
