We have started to train to play wide & consistently changing positions. This is the beginning to be playing futsal the way it is suppose to be played. The energy from the boys was GRRRRREAT!!! Wonderful session yesterday.

Had a great time with the boys yesterday (30th Sept '18) at the Sports Arena in Puchong. Turn out yesterday was 14 guys despite the late pullout by some due to personal matters that needed to be attended to.

August Update
Till the 2nd week of August, we had 10 members training and playing weekly at the White Fairy Futsal & Badminton Centre.
We had a meeting with the boys & discussed that we are wanting to grow the team member from the current team of 10 members to a targeted team of 40 youths by the year-end.
To achieve this target we started the EMGAM program which was well accepted by all the boys. EMGAM is the abbreviation of Every Member Gets A Member.
To achieve the target of 40 members by year-end, this EMGAM program got started immediately & the following week we got our first new member from the efforts of our current boys.
The first member from this EMGAM program is a Sarawakian Malay boy aged 18 years old.
By the fourth week of August, we have had an additional 6 new members. Of the 6 new members, 5 are Malay Muslims and 1 an Indian.
Other than the EMGAM program, also in the pipeline is the page where we will be highlighting the weekly activities of our Futsal Club with the hope that we may be able to reach out to more participation of the youth around the Puchong area.
The creation of the NLCS Futsal Club crest has created some excitement amongst the current group of boys. With the introduction of the new club crest, the boys seem to have a different attitude lately knowing that they now have an identity that they represent, and they represent with pride although we have yet to put this crest onto our club jerseys.
We as discussed with the representative of the NLCS board will be looking to change our weekly playing venue. The monthly cost of the new venue will be brought up to the NLCS board for approval in the coming weeks.
The proposed change of venue is basically a re-branding process where we will be able to project the Futsal Club in a more positive light.
We will also be creating registration forms where the boys will be asked to fill their particulars which we intend to keep a database of each & every member.
All these new steps are being made with the vision of achieving to start the NLCS Futsal Academy in the near future.
More activities will be planned for the boys in the coming month of September.

Our story:


The notion of a futsal club first derived from the primary objective of the New Life Community Society (NLCS) in its formation years, to gather youths of all races around the community and to get them involved in activities that encourage physical exertion.

The NLCS Futsal Club was formed in early August 2016 with just six youths and in a short span of time, the team grew into 15 multi-racial talented young men, carrying the theme of the Club in their hearts that is to stand against bullying.

Our objectives amongst many are:

– To encourage the spirit of unity (muhibbah) regardless of race, color or creed through futsal.

– To inculcate leadership in the youths.

– To develop a Futsal Academy that gives training programmes as early as from the age of six onwards.
