For the upcoming - and The Zhongshan Building has been working with a diverse bunch of artists, artisans and arts interested people to do a creative takeover of the quiet Bangunan Pak Peng set in busy Petaling Street.
In its small quiet rooms we encourage people to Rest, Play and Ponteng.
We will also be having workshops and classes on everything from fraying your old school belts into works of art to learning about the history of downtown KL (Drugs, Gambling, Entertainment) to making mixed tapes, to singing karaoke, to main wayang, to having a haircut in front of an artwork of someone getting their hair cut, to sit in a room full of chairs and look at photos of chairs, to getting your future told, to getting a tattoo, to resting, to reading aloud with strangers and in general to encourage people to sit, rest, play and take time out.
