41 Years of Youth, Service & Devotion

On 19 August 1985, the Youth of MCSA (as it is now known) was established to encourage greater youth participation at Sri Kandaswamy Temple, Brickfields

Through the efforts of the late C. S. Moorthy, late S. Perampalam, Sri Sivasri Sabaratna Parameswara Kurukkal, and then-committee member Mr. R. Sivanathan, young devotees were given opportunities to perform seva.

41 years on, this spirit continues from temple service and cultural programmes to community initiatives, volunteering and outreach.

What began in 1985 continues today. A vision of young people serving with faith, strengthening community, and keeping a cherished legacy alive.

19.08.1985 — 41 years of youth, service & devotion. Here’s to many more years of serving and surrendering to our beloved Scott Road Murugan🕉️🦚
