"True humility is not measured by words, but by the quiet kindness of a person who lifts refugee youths with hope, dignity, and opportunity.”

On behalf of Kiwanis Taman Desa, we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Mr. LC Kong for his generous cash sponsorship for our Key Club of Ruth Education (School for Myanmar Refugees).
Your kindness gave the students an opportunity to experience and enjoy the bazaar night while also contributing to the community.
A special thank you as well to our member, Debbie Am, for connecting Mr. LC Kong with us and making this meaningful contribution possible.
Your generosity and support are truly appreciated.

Every new member brings new energy, new ideas, and new hope to the communities we serve. Through the spirit of fellowship and service, the Kiwanis Club of Taman Desa continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families around us.
As Kiwanians, we are not just building a club — we are building a stronger, kinder community. Let us continue to invite friends, family, and like-minded individuals to join our mission of service. Together, we can expand our reach, touch more lives, and create an even greater impact for those in need.
A heartfelt thank you and appreciation to Brian Tham and Debbie Am for sponsoring two new members to join our Kiwanis family. Your dedication and commitment to growing our service community are truly inspiring.
Every member matters. Every act of service counts. And every new Kiwanian helps carry our journey forward.
Together, we serve. Together, we inspire. Together, we make a difference.

The Kiwanis Club of Taman Desa, led by President Max Eng, visited PKKII and Ruth Education Centre to donate RM10,000 each, supporting their funds and sponsored youths as part of our commitment to helping others and uplifting the community. Last Saturday, we also sponsored our youths to attend the Kiwanis Karnival Emas at Mountfort Home, organized by the Kiwanis Club of Kuala Lumpur, fostering care and shared experiences. We will continue visiting more homes to contribute groceries and financial aid, especially during this challenging period of rising living costs.” Our Membership Recruitment Director, Debbie Am, also invited a guest to visit the homes, who has since joined us as a new member.”

On 24 March, the Kiwanis Club of Taman Desa, led by President Max Eng and seven members, visited Pertubuhan Kebajikan Pusat Jagaan Warga Emas Hao Dak Kuala Lumpur with a simple mission—to care and to give.
After a thorough background check, the club contributed RM3,000 in cash and RM1,000 worth of groceries to support the home, lovingly run by Ms. Angie and her daughter. The home relies entirely on public donations, providing shelter to eight elderly residents who have no families to return to and pay no fees to stay.
In the quiet strength of this humble home, we are reminded: “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.”
President Max Eng shared, “I hope more people will come forward to assist. We do as much as we can while we can, as we never know our future.”
“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”
