These five little kids from Zomi Education Centre, who ate below 12 years old, were waiting for their transport as we were also leaving after the Charity Bazaar. Before they left, they came to say, “Thank you” and “Goodbye.”
I told them that they should thank Mr. LC Kong, and their innocent response was to make this little video for him. ❤️

It may seem like a small gesture, but it is such a beautiful act of kindness, gratitude, and appreciation. At such a young age, their thoughtfulness and sincerity were truly heartwarming.

Sometimes, the smallest acts of kindness leave the biggest impression. ❤️🙏

It was a beautiful Sunday well spent, made even more meaningful through the generosity of Mr. LC Kwong, who sponsored a wonderful outing for the children to attend the Starlight Charity Bazaar.
It was truly a case of “hitting two birds with one stone” — supporting the Starlight Charity Bazaar while also giving back to the homes and children who were invited to attend.

We were delighted to bring along the children from:
❤️ Ruth Education Centre
❤️ Zomi Education Centre
❤️ Charis Orphanage
❤️ Charis Old Folks Home
❤️ Victory Boys Home

To make the day even more special, everyone from the participating homes was given RM50 to spend at the Bazaar, allowing each individual to choose and purchase something they personally wanted. Seeing the excitement and happiness on their faces as they browsed through the Bazaar was truly priceless.

A heartfelt thank you to the kind-hearted Mr. LC Kwong for his continued generosity and unwavering support of KCTD and its events. Your kindness brings smiles, creates opportunities, and makes a meaningful difference in the lives of many.

A special thank you as well to our Membership Director Debbie Am ,whose efforts at the Bazaar have opened the door to welcoming another one or two new members into our KCTD family. It was wonderful meeting like-minded people who share the same spirit of giving and community.

A heartfelt thank you to Suntory Beverage & Food Malaysia for your generous sponsorship of Ribena beverages, which brought so much joy to the children and families we visited.
The Ribena was distributed to:

Zomi Education Centre, serving refugee children under 12 years of age
Ruth Education Centre, a school for young adult refugees
A young mother and her three children
Thanggam Orphanage
One of the most touching moments was at Zomi Education Centre, where some of the children had never tasted Ribena before. Their excitement and genuine happiness upon receiving the drinks were truly heartwarming and reminded us how even a simple gift can make a lasting impact.
A special thank you to Gin Yong from Kiwanis Kota Kemuning for coordinating and making this wonderful sponsorship possible. Your kindness, dedication, and support have helped create many smiles and precious memories.

Today, we had the privilege of visiting Persatuan Kebajikan Sayap Kasih Malaysia in Jalan Gasing, a home that cares for 69 children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
The home is currently facing a very challenging time after being asked to vacate its premises because the owner has sold the property. They urgently need financial assistance to relocate and continue providing care and support for their residents.

If you are able to extend a helping hand, no matter how small, your generosity will make a meaningful difference in the lives of these special individuals.

Attended the PST training to enhance our skills and stay up to date with the latest developments. Training like this helps us broaden our knowledge and continue growing, because learning is a lifelong journey with no finish line. It was an insightful and rewarding experience, and we also enjoyed wonderful fellowship with members from all over Malaysia. We had a great time learning, sharing experiences, and building meaningful connections together.

KC Taman Desa proudly participated in the Kiwanis Got Talent competition, where Serena Liew delivered a powerful performance of Celine Dion's I'm Alive. Her outstanding rendition earned her the 1st Place title. Congratulations, Serena, on this well-deserved achievement! Thank you Connie Low for also representing our club

We had the privilege of visiting the Kiwanis Club of Kuantan and spending meaningful time with the wonderful children at their special needs centre. ❤️

As part of our visit, our club was honoured to contribute RM3,000 to support the centre and its ongoing efforts in empowering these amazing children. We are also deeply grateful that our sponsored club, Kiwanis Club of Mahkota Cheras, generously donated an additional RM5,000, making our collective contribution even more meaningful.

The centre provides valuable skills training, where the children learn baking and handicrafts, helping them develop confidence, independence, and creativity. It was truly inspiring to witness their enthusiasm, talent, and determination.

A heartfelt thank you to the Kiwanis Club of Kuantan for your warm hospitality and unwavering dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of these special children. Together, through service and compassion, we can continue to bring hope, opportunity, and brighter futures to our communities.

Sharing of a beautiful event done by our other Kiwanis club

Another meaningful charity event beautifully organised by KCKL at The Majestic Hotel, graced by the presence of Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Alhaj, Sultan and Yang di-Pertuan of Selangor. A truly memorable evening filled with compassion, unity, and the spirit of giving. A beautiful occasion to cherish and remember always.

Heart full today. This brave little boy is smiling again after a successful kidney transplant! Grateful beyond words to everyone who stood by him, and a special thank you to KCTD and KCMC for their generous support that helped make this possible. Making a Difference Together

Once again, Mr. LC Kong has generously donated to Kiwanis Taman Desa to support the refurbishment of the Key Club at Ruth Education Centre, providing students with a better environment for learning. He also contributed cash for the purchase of storage cabinets and mattresses for the 10 students living at the centre.
Kiwanis Taman Desa members have been visiting the centre regularly to monitor the progress of the renovations and witness the positive impact of these improvements.
