Some of our silver-haired ladies who will be taking part in KLSings' upcoming Guys & Dolls SR, to be staged at PJPAC 26-27 June 2026.

Licensed by Music Theatre International, this special adaptation is designed for performers aged 55 and above, placing seniors centre stage as creators, performers, and storytellers.

This is more than a musical. It is a powerful celebration of active ageing, lifelong creativity, and community connection.

Last call for Seniors Sing 1 - a 6-week (2 hours weekly) online course specially designed for seniors age 50 and above who enjoy singing & want to learn to improve. (By the way, group singing promotes social interaction and reduces the risk of dementia.) Taught by Cheryl Teh, wellknown community choir leader frequently featured in the media. Only RM80 for University of the Third Age, Malaysia members. For non-members, add RM25 for annual fee & RM15 for one-time processing fee.

Let’s get physical!

29 March: Today we got everyone out of those chairs and got them moving! The Chorus has learnt the music for the show and now we begin the next phase - building up their stamina with movement sessions.

Already at the start of our rehearsal we could feel the buzz in’ of energy in anticipation of beginning this new phase with our choreographer Callista.

When working with seniors this is an important aspect because we needed to assess their mobility before creating the choreography. We need to ensure that the choreography is not only visually effective but are physically safe and easy to remember for our senior performers.

Introduction to Musical Theatre (Online via University of the Third Age, Malaysia)

If you are interested in singing for enjoyment, social engagement and as a mental and physical health booster, do sign up for U3A’s Seniors Sing course which will be delivered by our founder Cheryl Teh.

It will be delivered online - so you could be anywhere in (or out!) of Malaysia!! How great is that!

Course starts on Wed 8 April, 2-4pm.
