It's time to take a pause and think about all those bubble tea cups and bags lying around the office... 🙇🙇‍♀️

Zero waste education around the office is something we've been doing for a while but we're excited to say we finally have 2 HRDC-certified courses to offer now!

What this means is your company is entitled to 'free' training services that can be claimed under a HRDC Levy. The courses we offer are beginner-friendly and make sustainability education a lot more fun!

Registrations for our next #𝙟𝙤𝙢𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙧 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 is now open!💡👩‍🔧👨‍🔧

A full-day course where you’ll learn the basics of electrical appliance repairs and troubleshooting. Get hands-on experience of fixing basic items such as ovens and kettles whilst meeting other individuals who are passionate about repairing.

After completing this workshop, you’ll be able to join our Repair Clinics and network of opportunities to continue practicing and supporting others. Along with an e-certificate, you’ll have graduated as our very own Repair Cadet 🔧

Throwback to our latest session where we looked into Battery-operated Appliances! 🔋

We talked about battery health, connectivity and how to replace battery contact plates. Most of us also got to try out soldering for the first time.

We’ve partnered up with ChangeX to accelerate the by Zero Waste Malaysia of empowering Malaysians with basic repair skills.

With rising e-waste concerns and all the negative impacts they bring, we want to encourage reusing devices through repair. This programme provides communities with funding to join and build your own JOMREPAIR community.

Let's get fixing with batteries! 🪫🔋

Almost everyone has had an instance where we open up an item/toy/appliance and find leaky batteries which then causes the appliance/item to stop working. This workshop goes deeper into common problems faced with battery-operated items along with hands-on exercises on what you can do to repair them! 🚂👨‍🔧

A new topic for our training series - Patch & Mend 🪡🧵

Learn the basics of sewing that equip you with the skills to fix tears and patches. We'll explore 5 different sewing techniques and finish up with a creative sewing session where you can bring in some projects from home and fix them with guidance from our trainer.
