Prayer for Calm Alignment in Calling

Lord,

When my heart becomes passionate,
make me even more calm.

Do not let me run ahead of You,
but teach me to walk at Your pace.

Help me build structure
without trying to control.
Let me carry responsibility
without becoming heavy.

Lord,
this ministry is not mine.
You were the beginning,
You are the present,
and You are the end.

If there is any mixed motive within me,
quietly purify it.
Let no desire for recognition
or hidden pride take root.

The passion is already sufficient.
Give me discernment.
Give me wisdom to slow down.
Give me restraint in my words.

Uganda is Yours.
The children are Yours.
The finances are Yours.

I am only a vessel.

And when I return,
let my heart say:

“Lord, You have done it all.”
