Lions Club of Ampang Lions Club of Ampang is a community Service organization under the umbrella of Lions Club International District 308 B1 Malaysia.

The Lions Club of Ampang is founded on the 8th October 1996 when a group of like-minded individuals came together with intention to serve the community. We are active in serving those in need of assistance especially those with diabetic conditions, impairment, poverty as well as creating awareness about environment conservation and general well-being of those who are under-privileged in old-folk homes and orphanages.

Project Time (Start to End): 5.30pm-9.30pm
Project Venue: Ronald McDonald House of Charities
Total People Served: 55 children ages 3 years old to 14 years old, and 39 caregivers within families and 6 nurses which comes to a total of 100pax
Total Non-Lions Volunteers: 1 (Puan Indayu)

Activity Description: In conjunction with the Bulan Ramadhan spirit, the cancer children, have been treated berbuka puasa dinner with Green Packets and Goodies🫂

*Project Overview*
The Circuit of Joy project was organised to bring joy, care, and meaningful experiences to children from various orphanages.

Through this initiative, the children were brought to Mid Valley to enjoy the excitement and fun of Circuit attractions, creating a memorable, uplifting, and enriching experience beyond their daily routine.

*Objectives & Service Impact*

*Humanitarian Service*
This project aimed to provide underprivileged children with an opportunity to experience recreational activities in a safe and joyful environment.

Exposure to new surroundings and activities helped enrich their childhood experiences and broaden their perspectives.

*Hunger Relief*
Lunch was provided to all participating children, ensuring they were well cared for throughout the programme. This reflected the Lions Club’s commitment to meeting basic needs with compassion and dignity.

*Mental Health & Well-being*
By creating moments filled with laughter, excitement, and positive interaction, the project contributed to the children’s emotional well-being. The joyful activities helped uplift their spirits, supporting better mental and emotional health.

*Lions with NGOs & Local Communities*
The project was successfully carried out in collaboration with Bodhi, Wen Hua, Sunbeams, and Trinity, who brought children from their respective orphanages to participate in the programme.

*Lions with Youth*
Leos worked alongside Lions members throughout the project, demonstrating strong youth involvement and teamwork in delivering meaningful community service.

*Project Outcome*
The Circuit of Joy project successfully delivered smiles, laughter, and lasting memories to the children. It reinforced the Lions Club’s mission of serving with heart by addressing not only physical needs but also emotional and psychological well-being.

This project demonstrated how simple acts of care, thoughtful planning, and collaboration can create a significant positive impact on the lives of children. The Lions Club remains committed to continuing initiatives that bring joy, hope, and holistic support to the community.

Today, 4 January 2026 at 11:30am, we witnessed once again the true spirit of Lionism in action.

Because of your time, effort, teamwork, and generous contributions, Let’s Recycle 19.0 was a great success! 🙏

👏 Grand Total Collected: 3,167.70 kg 👏
Every single kilogram represents care for our environment and commitment to a greener future.
