Empowering Rohingya Women and Girls 🌸
Over the past year, Rohingya women and girls have become more confident, independent, and aware of their rights and available support.
📚 English Learning
Some women joined our English classes without being able to write their own names. Today, they can write their names, understand basic English, and use simple English in daily life—for example, when visiting a doctor, communicating with their children’s school, or understanding important information.
🧵 Sewing & Handicrafts
Through sewing and handicraft activities, women are learning practical skills that can support their livelihoods and help them earn an income. These skills can also help women become more independent and support their families.
💜 Empowerment & Awareness
RRW provides awareness sessions on GBV, mental health, child marriage, personal hygiene, healthy living, women’s rights, and child protection. These sessions help women and girls make informed decisions, protect themselves and their children, and know where to seek support.
At RRW, we believe that when women have knowledge, skills, confidence, and support, they can create positive change in their own lives and communities.
Women, by women, for women. 🌷
