A beautiful evening at the Installation of President Hanna Ghani of Rotary Club KK Pearl, Sabah. Had the chance of meeting our HPV Global Grant international partner, Rotary Club of Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. Moments like these remind us that when Rotarians come together, it doesn’t matter which District or which Country, the fellowship is simply awesome.

Karthi’s legacy.

Deputy Minister of National Unity YB Yuneswaran Ramaraj visited our late Karthi’s home today, 4th day of his passing. He recognised Karthi’s late father who was Secretary of Kg Kasipillay Rukun Tetangga in the early days and Karthi was the present Secretary. Kg Kasipillay falls under the Segambut federal constituency,
represented by YB Hannah Yeoh who also paid her respects on the funeral day. The impact of Karthi’s community work and contribution.

The National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM) is deeply saddened by the passing of Past Assistant Governer (PAG) Karthi Palanisamy.

He will be remembered not only for his dedication and leadership, but also for the kindness, warmth, and unwavering support he extended to many throughout his life. His contributions and close collaboration with NCSM have left a meaningful impact on our community and those whose lives he touched.

On behalf of the Board, management, staff, and volunteers of NCSM, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.

May his soul rest in peace, and may his legacy continue to inspire compassion and service in others.

Gone just too soon.

Today we mourn the loss of a Rotary icon. With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of NCMW Secretary General, Rotarian Karthi Palanisamy. No words can adequately capture the immense void left by his departure. His unwavering commitment, visionary leadership and creative contributions enriched Rotary and the wider community, leaving a legacy of service and inspiration. The National Coalition for Mental Wellbeing lost one if its pioneers.
