Tribute to the organisers of Rotary Club of Madras East. With little time that I had with kids age 13-15yrs old. How they managed to win in this competition call Wings to Fly. The point is they were winners out of over 14000 competitors. The subject was the Indian Constitution. Further more they were made to defend cases offcourse mock cases. Later they had to write Judgement as well. Like real Judges. President you would have enjoyed chatting with this kids. Bravo RC Madras East ..Rtn Dr Ahmed Sugee, RC Central Damansara.

RCCD hosted the 1st batch of winners from the Wings to Fly project in 2016. Yesterday we had the honor of once again meeting this year’s winners over Pizza. Thank you Rtn Dr Alamelu Arvind accompanied by Rtn Spouses Ann Madhuri and Ann Veena for leading the project and chaperoning the kids.

Today, 305 girls aged 9–14 received the HPV vaccination through a Rotary Global Grant project in partnership with the National Cancer Society of Malaysia. This initiative by the Rotary Club of Central Damansara is dedicated to raising awareness that cervical cancer is preventable when vaccination is given early. By reaching those who missed school-based programs and supporting vulnerable communities, we are saving lives and building a healthier future. Should you know of any groups that have yet to receive the vaccination, please message us - no one should be left out.

Just a simple project …. RCCD presenting new sarees to the first group of deserving mothers in celebration of Pongal and the upcoming Thaipusam. With a packet of sweets each as the sweetness of life.

The joy on their faces, is happiness in our hearts. These sarees are lovingly donated by well‑wishers, whose generosity makes this gesture possible. Thank you dear friends.
