PPCLC Monthly Update | February 2026
At Pos Pasik Community Learning Centre (PPCLC), we serve Orang Asli children aged 4–6 in Pos Pasik, Kelantan—an extremely remote community located nearly three hours off-road from the nearest town.
Despite the challenges of distance, limited access to formal schooling, and seasonal changes, PPCLC continues to provide early childhood education, basic literacy and numeracy, and holistic child development in a safe, nurturing environment.
📖 February 2026 Highlights
February came with its own rhythm. Classes paused briefly during the Chinese New Year period, and the paddy harvesting season affected attendance as families focused on health and daily needs. Even so, the community class continued smoothly on scheduled school days.
✏️ Learning Progress
Throughout the month, we saw encouraging growth. Many of our five- and six-year-old students are now able to write independently, while younger children continue developing their skills with guidance.
Reading and number recognition remain areas we’re strengthening—using flashcards, hands-on activities, and singing to make learning engaging and joyful.
🌾 Learning from Life
During the paddy season, teachers and students also observed how rice is harvested, prepared, and cooked—connecting classroom learning with real life in the kampung.
🤍 Community Support
Parents and guardians remain supportive and communicative, informing teachers when children are unwell or travelling. This partnership helps ensure continuity and care for every child.
✨ Your continued support enables PPCLC to sustain daily operations, provide meals, and keep learning going—no matter the season or distance.
