The underlying premise of this Global Meditation for Compassionate Love (Metta) is in enshrined in the first verse of the Dhammapada:

Mind is the forerunner of all phenomena…

With this in mind, this Metta Round the World initiative sets out to harness the positive mental energies through the cultivation of Metta (Loving Kindness). Practiced together with wisdom and insight, Metta will transform us all into a caring, compassionate, and sustainable community.
