A lot of what gets framed as ‘risk’ is actually unmet support needs.

In this episode, Amna Nasir unpacks how reproductive justice looks different through a disability justice lens, where access, care, rest, flexibility, and being believed matter just as much as rights themselves.

For disabled people, people with chronic illness, mental health conditions, or fluctuating capacities, the problem is often not inability.

The problem is systems that were never built with them in mind.

📢 Say it louder!

Intersecting crises are weakening institutions and eroding public trust.

Governments must work with civil society and communities to ensure health systems remain responsive to intersecting crises, including conflict, climate change, economic instability, and public health emergencies.

These partnerships can help build accountable institutions that uphold human rights, prevent corruption, and guarantee equitable allocation of public resources towards health and SRHR.
