A meaningful start to the new Rotary year as the Rotary Club of Bukit Angkasa convened its first club meeting on 7 July 2026 at Coco Pod Café, Subang Jaya.

We were honoured to welcome our distinguished guest speaker, AG Poo Ching Loong (RC Sri Petaling), who delivered a thought-provoking session on “AI Business Chamber for Rotary Club of Bukit Angkasa”. His insights highlighted the transformative potential of artificial intelligence in strengthening business networks, enhancing service initiatives, and shaping the future of Rotary leadership.

The evening was further elevated by the presence of respected Rotary leaders, including President PDG Leslie, PAG Hans (RC Gombak), and PP Md Nor (RC Damansara West) & guests (KJ & lawyer schoolmate & 2 friends of IPP Cheah)

As Rotary continues to evolve in a rapidly changing world, leadership requires vision, innovation, and the courage to embrace new possibilities. This meeting was more than a fellowship gathering—it was a conversation about the future, exploring how technology and collaboration can empower us to create greater impact in our communities.

Together, we look forward to building a stronger, more progressive, and future-ready Rotary Club of Bukit Angkasa.

Service Above Self. Leadership Beyond Today.

Congratulations to Immediate Past President Cheah on a remarkable year of dedicated leadership and service, and heartfelt congratulations to President Amanda as she officially embarks on her Rotary journey as the new President of RCBA.

The Installation & Handover Ceremony was a truly memorable occasion, beautifully hosted in a magnificent century-old heritage venue. Surrounded by distinguished guests, fellow Rotarians, and friends, the evening was filled with fellowship, warm conversations, and the rich flavours of authentic Nyonya Baba cuisine—creating an atmosphere that perfectly reflected Rotary’s spirit of friendship and unity.

Our sincere appreciation goes to Immediate Past President Cheah and his organising committee for delivering such an outstanding and meaningful celebration.

As RCBA turns the page to a new chapter, may we continue to unite in the Spirit of Rotary—strengthening our fellowship, embracing opportunities to serve, and creating lasting impact in our communities and beyond.

Wishing President Amanda every success and fulfilment as she leads RCBA to even greater heights. Together, let us continue to Create Lasting Impact. 💙💛

🎬 HAPPYBARA: A YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH FESTIVAL RECAP 💛

On 19 April 2025, the Rotary Club of Bukit Angkasa with Rotaract D3300 transformed KL Gateway Mall into a vibrant, stigma-free zone where youth came together to learn, share, and connect! 🎉

This one-day Mental Health Festival brought together over 100 youths, parents, educators, and professionals for an experience packed with real talk, practical tools, and capybara-level cuteness 🐾✨

We tackled the big stuff—
🤖 AI & mental health
😮‍💨 Anxiety & depression
💔 Trauma & relationships
🚨 Crisis signs & su***de
📚 Study & career stress
🍽️ Lifestyle & self-care
📱 Digital wellness
🧠 Mental health careers
🧳 Generational baggage
—all through keynote talks, panel discussions, and small-group learning booths, led by psychologists, doctors, counselors, and trained professionals.

Every participant got a Journey Card and interactive booklet to guide their experience—and walked away with a limited-edition capybara blind bag keychain that doubles as a cute and calming fidget tool.

🩸 Plus, we hosted a blood donation drive to promote holistic health and community care.

Happybara 2025 showed just how powerful youth-led mental health spaces can be—engaging, supportive, and built for real impact. This is what real support looks like—and we’re just getting started.

🎥 Hit play to relive the day. Tag your Happybara crew & drop your fave moment!
