The World Speech Day pioneer in Malaysia - we celebrate the Power of Speech

14/10/2026

On Thursday, October 8th, I was at an IJM Toastmasters meeting in Petaling Jaya, where I gave my speech #956 – titled "I Can Sing" from the Engaging Humor pathway – leaning heavily on comedic timing, vocal variety, and facial expressions to say it all.
FYI, this was my speech #956.

On Tuesday, I presented my speech #955 – a Toastmasters project #3 from the Motivational Strategies pathway. As one of only two project speakers that evening, I took the stage to speak on "Red-hot Anger".

On Saturday, I attended my fourth Toastmasters meeting. It is a joint meeting of the ITF and Kajang Toastmasters Clubs.
I gave a speech titled "The Sprint" and shared my commitment to speak regularly and as often as I can. It's about a promise that demonstrates my passion for public speaking - and which has evolved into a 1,000-speech marathon. My speech #953.

Over a 3-day period, I went into overdrive to attend four Toastmasters meetings.
The first 2 meetings were back-to-back on a Thursday @ IJM Toastmasters in PJ and Metro Toastmasters in KL.
