The Society of Somali Community in Malaysia Holds Annual Iftar Gathering

The Somali Community in Malaysia organized its annual communal Iftar gathering, bringing together members of the community in a spirit of unity and reflection during the blessed month of Ramadan.
The event was attended by the Ambassador of Somalia to Malaysia, H.E. Mr. Ali Mohamed, Deputy Rector for Academic Affairs at the Somali National University Prof Dr. Abdurezak Abdulahi Hashi, members of the Supreme Council, the Executive Committee, the OrdinaryCommittee, as well as scholars, business leaders, women, students, and youth.
The gathering served as an opportunity not only to break the fast together but also to engage in meaningful discussions about the welfare of the Somali community living in Malaysia and ways to strengthen unity and cooperation among its members.
The Chairman of the Somali Community in Malaysia, Mr. Mukhtar Mohamed Ali, warmly welcomed the guests and provided an overview of the community’s activities and ongoing initiatives.
