DSAM DSAM is the national trade association aimed at promoting the direct selling industry in Malaysia.

Direct Selling Association of Malaysia (DSAM)/ Persatuan Jualan Langsung Malaysia, Registration No. PPM-001-10-19101978 functions at the societal level to create and maintain an environment that is conductive to the growth and stability of the direct selling industry in Malaysia. To this end, we were established in 1978 as a national trade association aimed at promoting the direct selling industry

on a national and international level, as well as act as the de facto voice of the industry. The association is led by a President and Vice-President and 7 committee members, all of whom are elected by our member companies. Over the years, we are pleased to have contributed to the industry’s professional image and presence on both the local and global arenas. In addition to the cooperation extended by our member companies, we work closely with the Ministry of Domestic Trade & Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP), Ministry of Finance (M*F), Ministry of Health (KKM), other government bodies and trade associations to achieve our common aspirations.

DSAM CEO’s Hari Raya Luncheon brought together industry leaders for meaningful networking, exchange of ideas, and shared perspectives on the evolving direct selling landscape.

The main highlight of the occasion was the launch of the 4th Edition Code of Conduct, a timely update reflecting the shift towards digital and social commerce. The session kicked off with DSAM Code Administrator, Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, who underscored the importance of embedding ethical practices as a daily standard across all levels of the industry.

In his speech, DSAM President Zaihan emphasized that as the industry continues to evolve, the enhanced framework is to ensure the industry remains aligned with changing times—building trust and integrity across all platforms.

The presence of representatives from KPDN Laman Rasmi added further significance, reinforcing the strong collaboration between industry and regulators in upholding transparency, accountability, and consumer peotection
