ACTS Of Passion

ACTS Of Passion Our group was started back in 2006 with several individual who wanted to do something to give back
and contribute to the society by doing some charity work.

We are a group of individual from different background who have a simple objective- to help the urban poor around the Klang Valley area without setting any preference in race, religion and etc To date, we have more than 50 and growing individuals who decided to contribute funds, time and resources to meet the needs of the less privileged in both financially and emotionally. Currently, majority of

our contributors is donating RM 20/month and every single cent is channel to the below groups;

1) Rumah Victory in Old Klang Road
2) Urban Poor Families (most of them are Indian)
3) Myanmar Refugees Family
4) A Myanmar Refugees School in Sg Besi (CCEC- Chin's Children Education Center)
5) Urban Food Sharing (providing free food for street people in Jalan Pudu for homeless people)

We will normally buy food/groceries/paying bills for them
(every month) instead of giving cash unless there's some unforeseen circumstances. If you would like to know more about the work we are doing & be part of the contributor, please email Lisa Wong at [email protected]

it will make ripples throughout the entire pond-Quote: Jessy & Bryan Matteo-

The thing which most people fear the most..eldery fell down at home with head bleeding...and laying down alone. This happened to 90 yrs old Aunty Chan 2 days before CNY. By the grace of God, her son came back from work not long after that and neighbour helped to call for an ambulance.
She has been staying in this elderly/after care home since CNY till now. She should be going back her own house soon as the fee is paid by her grandson who just started to work in Sgp. Good that the grandson still have compassion toward her tho his mother already passed on.
She would love to continue to stay here as its all been taken care off no need to struggle to cook or do house chores, in fact I feel she looks much better now. No need to eat leftover dishes from restaurant and reheat the next day as dinner. But few thousands MYR per month is not everyone can afford.
This is the first time I see an elderly happily staying in a retirement home especially a Chinese.

May God have mercy and compassion to this 90 years old lady. I asked what can I do for her? She said "Come and chit chat and pray for me", that's all I need. Things can be little bit lonely here. As I glance thru, all I can see is those elderly seating and facing the TV, not sure if they are really watching or just want some "sound" to pass thru for the day. Their eyes just delighted when see an unfamiliar face come in and try to strike a conversation with you.

Life is such that people nowdays who are still well and able will say I don't need to rely, ask anyone to.... I don't need my kids to so and so on...but, we do not know how things will turn when situation happens..and everyone will say they dont want to live so long and suffer. But no one know our future ahead.
Whether we are rich, poor, healthy and not..human connection and support system is still needed.
With the advancement in technology, Ai and Individualistic life..one thing never go outdated......
"Be Good and Be Kind",everyone have their own unspoken internal struggle.

Loosing her husband and daughter in short duration is not something everyone can accept. After all this years, tears still flowing down whenever she mentioned her daughter who is her only hope to rely on. It's always not easy for parents to have their children go ahead of them.

Coming to 89 years old, and still carrying heavy burden for her son. Never had a comfortable life from young till now, yet she still holding her Faith strongly and not loosing hope. One of the strongest women I came across
