Today, get a glimpse of street feeding that takes place every Tuesday.
Every week, the night starts the same: quiet, dark, and empty. But soon, the pavement transforms. A long line begins to form—a crowd patiently waiting, despite the heavy burdens they carry.
Look closely at the faces in the queue, and you’ll see a beautiful, heartbreaking tapestry of human emotion. In a single night, we witness it all:
* The heavy sadness and tiredness of a long, unforgiving day.
* The sudden wash of relief when the food van arrives.
* A fleeting smile, a spark of happiness, and a glimmer of hope restored with a warm meal.
Behind the serving stand our sewadars. Their focus is absolute. For them, this isn't just volunteering; it is sewa (selfless service). Their eyes are fixed entirely on the act of giving—ensuring that every scoop of food is served with the utmost respect, dignity, and love.
Despite the challenges of life on the streets, there is a beautiful patience in that line. A community bound by hunger, but uplifted by care.
Thank you to our dedicated sewadars for being the light in the dark, and to our street friends for teaching us resilience every single night. 🤍
