On April 25, VYG Malaysia held its first-ever all-night vigil for the youth, titled The Next Generation. The event was a powerful experience that energized, inspired, and united all who attended.

The night was filled with impactful activities, heartfelt stories, and the forging of new friendships.

God is the Word, and His Word has power, is reliable, and is the solution to everything.

His word is available to everyone if we want to receive His presence.

Matthew 7:7-8 (NIV)
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

Those who believe His word and are willing to surrender themselves to Him unconditionally are not spared the sacrifice of giving their own lives to God. Obeying His word brings protection from danger, relief in times of distress, and salvation for our soul.

Amid the pains and anguish of this life, we are invited by the Most High God to invoke Him with all our strength. He not only listens to our call, but also promises to answer us in a way that goes far beyond what we ask or think.

If you are suffering, do not refuse God’s invitation. Take your problems to Him and believe that you will receive deliverance because He welcomes those who are afflicted and commits to help them.

This means that we should be kind, benevolent, and understanding with people in every situation. We are representatives of our Lord Jesus in this world; our behaviour can either bring people closer to God or push them away. He is returning; therefore, we cannot risk losing our Salvation nor the souls of those around us because of our bad testimony.

Should be something logical, but not everyone follows this advice. Many people insist on moving forward while keeping their thoughts in the past, while others continue to be distracted by the circumstances of life.

Once in a while, they stop walking and look back, and so they lose their target. How do they expect to make any progress?

Those who wish to be successful should take certain steps: forget what happened in the past and prioritize what lies ahead, let go of traumas and grasp new opportunities, abandon complexes, and give themselves the chance to change, free themselves from chains of fear, throw away all grudges, and embrace forgiveness.

When we look ahead, we focus on the future and maintain our spiritual vision.

Reflecting on our past is essential; it's where we've learned, grown, and sometimes faced challenges. However, dwelling on mistakes or holding onto regrets can weigh us down. This realization struck me during our discussion on the topic, echoing my tendency to cling to past mistakes. Today, I've learned the importance of letting go and not letting the past define me. I'm now open to allowing God to cleanse and renew my heart.

The exciting part of this journey is envisioning the future—imagining the possibilities, pursuing dreams, and finding ways to fulfill them. It's an opportunity for growth, new experiences, and creating a positive impact.

I've chosen to surrender all my past mistakes and shortcomings to God. Today, I've made the decision to align my will with His, believing that His plans are greater than ours.

From the visit to the orphanage, I discovered that although many children reside there, only a few were present during our visit as some were outside. Despite the small number, let's strive to make a positive impact not just for those we meet, but also to glorify our Lord. Additionally, let's share and contribute what we've learned in the Word of God.
