The morning began with the Women’s Programme, celebrating women who lead, innovate, and inspire across ASEAN and beyond.

Following the Opening Ceremony of the 10th ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Carnival 2025, we were honoured to have YBrs. Tuan Muhammad Kamil bin Abdul Munim, Political Secretary to the Prime Minister of Malaysia, visit our exhibition booths at MATRADE.

Tuan Kamil took time to meet and interact with ASEAN delegates, entrepreneurs, and innovators learning about their projects, products, and contributions to the region’s dynamic business ecosystem.

The ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Council (AYEC), the official voice of young entrepreneurs in ASEAN proudly participated in the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (ABIS) 2025 and ASEAN Business Awards held alongside the 47th ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur.

AYEC plays a key role in representing young entrepreneurs in ASEAN’s policymaking process, connecting 10 Member States through a unified platform for collaboration, innovation, and growth.

At the Summit, Ms. Deborah Melissa Bottreau, Chairperson 2025 and Founding Secretary General of AYEC, represented the Council at the handover ceremony and awards dinner, continuing AYEC’s mission of empowering youth-led entrepreneurship across the region.
